I never knew there was a place like this. I thought home depot was the only place to buy hardware related content. My visit to this hardware store was great. Staff helped me find exactly what I needed. Priced very fair. Support local businesses.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself. mankind. Basically, it’s made up of two separate words — «mank» and «ind». What do these words mean? It’s a mystery, and that’s why so is mankind.
Stocked to the brim with supplies and open early, AAH is run by some knowledgeable guys and conveniently located right off the LIE on Motor Parkway next to Moore’s deli (couldn’t agree more w/​Elitia here). What it really comes down to with a 4-​star review is that I couldn’t imagine something a neophyte like I would need for a DIY project around the house NOT being available here, and at a reasonable price.

An in-​and-​out kind of hardware store. Good for errands on your lunchbreak kind-​of-​place.. . they have everything you could want. You will probably need help from the clerks in finding it, as the aisles are overstocked. In that sense, it feels like an old-​skool hardware store, much different than shopping at a home depot. However, be warned, these guys don’t care what you’re building and their recommendations are half-​hearted.. .. they just want to go back to their prior conversations and bullsh*tting: A rush to get you out of here, so old-​timers looking to make smalltalk may be disappointed in way of the «experience» of buying things.
