Great burger and really good fries. They are nice long tasty fries. Good service with a decent alcohol selection of beer, wine and liquor.

My wife and I ate here once and I was very impressed. The service was prompt and the portions were very big. If you get a chance try one of there specials that includes a four course meal. We actually ordered here from my job also and the food was of the same quality. If I’m ever in the area this place has earned my return business.

I didn’t know what to expect when I walked into the diner but it was a fantastic experience. The food was great and the staff was extremely friendly. I will definately be back. What a great find.

Ate here about a month ago, use to be regulars. Now my husband and I go every now and then. One of my favorite breakfast order is the corn beef hash and eggs. They make it fresh. Delicious! I enjoy this everytime!

Sometimes circumstances, like having a family member in hospital mean cooking a full traditional Thanksgiving dinner is not possible. So we met here, and we were able to dine on a very good and plentiful meal. The waitress checked the table after each course, asking if we needed anything and if everything was okay. The hostess also checked in with the tables. We all had the turkey and the meat was moist and tender, the vegetables did not come out of a can and were not over cooked as veggies can sometimes be in a diner. The stuffing was moist and flavorful. The food was good, the value for the reasonable price was high, the service was attentive, it was a holiday, so 5 stars.

I had posted a review and Unilocal removed it because they claimed it was in bad taste. The truth is is that this diner is the worst on long Island. As a suffolk county native and food conosier/blogger I can tell you this diner is so slow that they serve us old and molded food. when we walked in we were the only people in there. I ordered a chop steak last nite from the menu special.

Went for their early bird special for $ 14.99 before 7pm. Large selection of choices that includes a cup of soup AND salad and desert. I had the broiled grouper with potatoes and vegetable. Perfectly cooked and flavorful. Staff was excellent. They have a new chef who knows how to please.

Typical NY diner. Usual bright clean atmosphere with friendly staff. I had a salad which was way more than I could eat. Large menu serving a wide variety of quality food. Definitely a good choice if your in the mood for diner food.

On the suggestion of the lovely waitress with the German accent I tried the California omelet. I also had the great home made sweet sausage. Both were tremendous. She was so attentive it made me sad that I only get to stop in once a year or so.

Huge selection, mediocre quality, not cheap. Waitress was a riot, though.

Father’s Day breakfast with dad included belly laughs & Paradise Diner. We came around 12pm. The place was P-A-C-K-E-D! I can tell the hostess was a bit overwhelmed. However she remained extremely pleasant & sociable. Our party of 3 only waited 10 – 15 minutes for a table. Our server was an elderly woman who we could help but love. It took a while for her to take our order, but we already knew she was working hard with the crowd & her apologies were more than enough for us. Onto the food… Dad ordered a Belgian waffle with ham. Huge waffle, came out warm& crispy. He loved it. Sis ordered the farmer omelette & served with home fries & toast, that thing can feed two people! I ordered the«Juicy Lucy» burger. This burger is 10 ounces of beef stuffed with your choice of cheese. I chose mozzarella cheese. Delicious! The burger came with a healthy serving of french fries, onion rings & coleslaw with a pickle. I was stuffed! The bill for three of us with coffees, teas & tax totaled $ 56! Great deal! Excellent service! I will be back! Happy Unilocaling!

I asked if they had decaf iced tea. She brought hot tea and said they don’t have decaf iced tea. The lobster bisque tasted like tomato soup with a slurry of flour. The cole slaw was the driest, blandest I’ve ever had. The pickle was thin and sad looking… From an old jar, no doubt. The paninis were uneventful. The Greek gyro panini was so bad my husband left most of it on the plate. My chicken mozzarella and spinach panini was dry and bland. The chicken cutlet was tough and hard to chew. When you leave most of your food on the plate and start thinking taco bell would have been better, it’s definitely not a good sign. I found it interesting how not one person ever asked us how the food was… I’m assuming they already know that answer. Pass this one up, no matter how late or hungry you are.

Has changed hands. A different group of people. Not as busy as they used to be. The hamburger was ok and the coffee was ok.

The food was decent, but I got food poisoning a few hours after my meal was done, and I felt so sick(and threw up) thanks to the meal I had there.

First of all, Gluten free pancakes. Second of all, gluten free french toast. Third? Quinoa. Its a diner, but its a diner everyone can eat at and i absolutely have options here. Awesome. Had scrambled eggs with sautéed spinach and quinoa. Little bit of Feta. This is one of those situations where I’m all«no fries for me! «nope. Doin’ good. Then my mam got fries, and I ate them all they were so bomb. Paradise! I almost felt like i was there…

Since the management, there has been a lot of improvements. The menu items and food quality has been much better. The staff has been so friendly and they actually remember your name. last week we celebrated our niece’s birthday here, they made her a special birthday plate to her liking. NOWTHATSSERVICE. It’s been a really long time since I’ve experience such service. Thanks guys for the experience. We’ll definitely be back.

Besides having a very uncomfortable waiter, the food was just terrible tonight. I understand its diner food, but it was bad for even that class of food. The food tasted a week old, the earliest. The food came out separately, my date getting her soup and appetizers before I even received my soup. I think the waiter was new, and I wish him the best, but I only hope for future customers sake that he improves his skill. Most people don’t know what they want to order before they open the menu but maybe that’s just me . All around, everyone was friendly and maybe that’s why I might give them one more chance, but it won’t be for a while.

Maybe my rating is based on extensive diner experience in NJ and corresponding high standards. Food was yucky. My breakfast sandwich was made on a stale roll. There was only a breakfast menu at 8AM. No place in Jersey does this. If I wanted a gyro at 7:45AM I could eat that in NJ. Also, HOLDTHEPHONE, NOTAYLORHAM?!? Coffee tasted like DIRT. I should have drank east river water when I stopped in the city to watch the sunrise. I had one sip. In sum: I spent $ 7 and had a couple of bites of a sandwich, two pieces of wilted fruit, a glass of apple juice and a sip of coffee. Do a better job Lawn Guy Land. the people who worked here were wonderful and that is why I am awarding two stars.
