My 93 year old mother has been a resident at Oceanside for over a year. Despite every attempt to clearly communicate with management, her stay has never meet minimum expectations. We have dealt with unprofessional intake staff, multiple nursing staff changes with no accountability, several management changes, always with blaming and the promise of changes, and constant staff and training shortages. Without getting into nasty specifics, I will only say, do not leave your loved one here; it should be a last resort.

Nice facility, people seemed very nice, reasonable cost. I spoke well about this facility to friends and neighbors, so I’m very disappointed that mom is moving out due to theft of money from her wallet, and management that does not offer a plan to correct the problem.

The care here is phenomenal! I should know, my ex-boyfriend’s mother (whom I still talk to this day!!) works here and cares for elderly individuals suffering from disabilities, alzheimers, and other illnesses. They are a live-​in facility and incorporate many activities for the senior citizens.
