My family and I stayed here for Thanksgiving in 2008. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was absolutely beachfront. My children woke up each morning to jump into the sand. My husband and father went kayaking whenever they could. If my children weren’t on the beach, they were in the hot tub facing the beach. We invited our family who lived in Hawaii to come over and have a BBQ. At first, they were kinda leery cuz THEY lived in Hawaii, and we were inviting THEM over. But, when they came to the home, they understood why we invited them. The outdoor area was huge — we had a wonderful family BBQ get together. We used the hammock, kayak, BBQ grill, outdoor park bench and table, deck area and hot tub to everyone’s delight. What was also very cool was the fact that there was a small market across the street and to the right of the property where we could go and pick up something we needed right away. The larger supermarket was a short 5 minute drive and had everything we needed. If you’re wondering where this place is located, it’s in the North Shore, near the shrimp trucks and the Polynesian Cultural Center. It’s a good drive to the Downtown Waikiki area. My relatives said that our rental was«countryside». I would definitely rent this place again if I ever go back to the North Shore area!
