Stopped on a Sunday mid afternoon with a friend. A beautiful but very windy day around 65 – 70 so no wait, not line. Very friendly young lady at the window ready to take our order but not rushing us at all. We each decided on the smallest(baby/kiddie) in a cup with a sugar cone on top. My friend couldn’t decide between pistachio and butter pecan and the young lady overheard my friend debating and said you could actually get both in their smallest size. A very nice surprise so my friend got both. I asked for a sample of one of their seasonal flavors: blueberry cream pie and it was fabulous! But I was also tempted by their coffee health bar so I also got both. My two flavors were outstanding! Blueberry very fresh with ample blueberry swirls and pieces of pie crust. The coffee was very prominent in my coffee Heath bar and there were ample pieces of Heath bar. My friend was very pleased with her butter pecan but a bit disappointed in the pistachio which tasted a bit freezer burned. Overall, great ice cream and we’d definitely be back. Caution: beware of the two signs posts on the parking lot which you may forget about when you are mesmerized by your ice cream. I bumped into one of them the last time not realizing it was there(it was in a blind spot) but no major damage. Apparently others have also been mesmerized too as they are nicely wrapped with big yellow cushions.

Parking does stink but you can usually find something. Service is very fast and friendly. Don’t be threated by long lines, they move fast. Best ice cream and slushes. My favorite is the pistachio yogurt. They serve good sizes for the money. I’ve heard good things about the food but haven’t had any yet. Maybe this year when they open! I wish they wouldn’t be closed for the entire winter. Ice cream can be eaten any time!

Best ice cream around and their hot fudge sundaes are to die for. Keep up the tradition of the ice cream stand and great ice cream as well. Love you folks!

Quick service! Especially on Labor Day! Friendly staff and most importantly, delicious ice cream. A great place to have our Labor Day — ice cream for dinner celebration.

There are a lot of choices for ice cream stands in the area. Biggart’s is my favorite because you get a reasonable amount of ice cream for a reasonable place. Other places seem to think«bigger is better» and offer *huge* portions that come with huge prices. I only want a scoop and a half, and Biggart’s delivers with their Small size. They serve frozen yogurt and slush, and they also have awesome food. I find the service to be faster and more efficient than at other local shops. Instead of gabbing with each other and helping customers at their leisure, the Biggart’s team is working and not chatting. They have clean picnic tables and benches to enjoy your treats.

Love love love the slush! The prices are fairly cheap, much better than some of the other ice cream stands around, and they give you several sizes to choose from. If highly recommend the coffee kahula fudge brownie frappé!!!

This place is awesome and always has a decent selection. Parking stinks and there’s always one person who hits the telephone pole every time I go, but this place is good for a froyo, ice cream, slush, or frappé. The family who owns it is nice too.

Every year they lie dormant by the roadsides. These beasts that begin to stir in March and by Memorial Day are thriving throughout New England. The roadside Ice Cream Stand. The roadside ice cream stand is so prevalent in NE that even the Dairy Queens here are closed in winter. When national chains«do as the Romans do» you know it’s an established way of life. Biggarts is one of many and while not one of unsatisfactory quality or design it doesn’t stand out either. They have Richardson’s ice cream, which, while very good, is not their own and so I docked them a star accordingly. Biggart’s is a good pick if 1. you happen to be driving by 2. Live across the street 3. Don’t want to drive to Amesbury or Boxford for the real stuff(totally homemade independent stands) 4. The line is too long at Hodgie’s in Amesbury so you just keep driving on 110 till you hit Biggart’s. I doubt anyone should be disappointed by the reasonable prices and friendly staff here but I’d highly recommend Benson’s or Hodgie’s if you aren’t a local and looking for the real thing! pass

Best frozen yogurt. Really nice family owned and operated place. Good food as well. Nice size portions. A kiddie is what it should be, a small, medium, and large are all the right size. Wonderful frappes. You can get one with skim milk as well.

Taking a ride along Route 110 on a warm afternoon, I made a pitstop at Biggart’s Ice Cream, which is an outside takeout restaurant that serves Richardson’s Ice Cream and drive-in type food such as burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, fried foods, and cold drinks including Pepsi products. The prices are pretty fair, the kiddie cone is a good size scoop for under $ 3 with tax. The seating area is pretty limited, 4 covered picnic tables. The parking lot was empty when I arrived here at 2:58PM on a Saturday. I ordered a Haddock Sandwich with Cheese and a small Brownie Sundae, totaling $ 8 with tax. I filled up my water bottle at the water fountain outside the building. As soon as my number was called and the food ready, seven cars showed up and the place was beginning to get busy. The Haddock Sandwich was decent, which was a very similar fish sandwich to McDonald’s Filet O Fish. The Brownie Sundae was really great, I chose Mississippi Mud ice cream, peanut butter sauce(very rich), chocolate brownies, topped with nuts, whipped cream, and cherry. That hit the spot! Need to boogie back to NH before the storm comes in.
