Hidden gem:
I went there the first time to see Chrissy for my hair. She did a lovely job of highlighting my dark brunette curly hair to a caramel and she spent the extra time on me until it came out perfect with the tinting. I will be going back for red highlights this time!
Today I saw the owner, Jill, for my first bikini wax EVER. She called me before the appt to prep myself before the appt and walked me through the process of the wax throughout the appt. I was very comfortable (it hurts a little being a first timer but I walked out without having any pain!!!) and she was very sweet. I would go back again for another wax!

I loved this salon and spa! Went and got waxed by their stylist Elizabeth and it was amazing. The salon is adorable and such a fun atmosphere. HIGHLY recommend. I will definitely be back to get other services done.

My hair has been dark for a bit and I wanted a change a bit lighter without bleaching my hair. The stylist did an amazing job adding in beautiful baby highlights so I had the color change without much trauma to my hair. Love it! The best thing is a stylist who listens and executes well. So happy with my hair.

I love coming to Fusion! Jill is so talented. I like to change up my look every other year and i can tell her i want something different and she comes up with something amazing. The salon is very clean. The atmosphere is welcoming and not uptight like at other places. Both Season and Lindsay provide excellent waxing and nail services. I moved recently, so now I drive from Shrewsbury to see the talented Ladies at Fusion.

Update:
I moved to Providence, RI and have tried a couple hair salons and still have not been able to get the same quality haircut that Jill gives me. It’s been such an issue that I’m now officially driving an hour and a half to go see her once a month. She’s that good. Highly recommend her in particular. Love this salon!

Jill has cut and styled my Hair for over two years and it’s the best haircut that I have ever got and she is a lot of fun and become a good friend And so if you are looking the Best hairdresser around you got to go to see Jill and her Great Staff

Sorry to be the only negative review here, but I got my hair done their awhile ago after looking up reviews and eventually deciding this was the place to go. I called in advance and let the receptionist know what I was planning on having done and they were very accommodating, I was able to come in that very day! I was wicked psyched. That being said, it was hard to find, because as another reviewer mentioned, it is behind the building, kinda of a water front entrance (difficult to describe). So I walk in and everything appears pretty modern and clean. The stylist that I had sat me down and asked me what I was thinking… WOW bad idea. Talk about ZERO desire to even attempt to try to take any of my thoughts into consideration, and I wasn’t asking for anything «weird.» So… she basically said, your hair is dark brown, my hair is black, black hair is very nice, let’s just dye it black… OK I’m not even making this up. UMMMM so those are my ONLY options!!! Give me an effin break. So I felt like sh*t and needed to cover up some roots, so what the hell, just cover that up while I’m here. Mind you, I was extremely polite through all of this. What is funny is that a co-​sylist looked over while I was throwing out ideas, gave the stylist working on me a look, and then shot me one too… As if to say «Hello, this chick is trying to figure this out and you are not helping.» I was told that since I have dark hair I basically have zero options. While the stylist next to me had jet black hair with a couple of bright pink highlights… and that wasn’t even what I was asking for (just giving an example). I’m sure the other stylists are wonderful, I just ended up with the one who didn’t give a hoot and wanted her lunch. Yay for me. And she barely made any attempt a conversation either. Whatever, unless you get the right stylist DON’T GO!!!

I’ve lived in Boston for almost 10 years and have gone to countless stylists in the city and just haven’t found one that I love. I want someone laid-​back and fun who isn’t going to reprimand me for cutting my own bangs or having split ends. That’s Jill! A co-​worker of mine (who always has fabulous hair) recommended I go see her. I live in Somerville and drive almost an hour up to Haverhill just to have Jill cut my hair and it’s totally worth the drive! I’ve gone twice so far and have loved the results. She did my eyebrows last time also and OMG they look incredible! Oh, and, the price is definitely right! **fyi– when you go there, the store front isn’t right on Washington, you have to walk down a little alley way and the entrance is in back on the river front.
