Douglas G Brown Moving Help

This guy helped to move my apartment recently. He came and inspected my place first for a free quote. He quoted on a bit higher side and I had to accept it as my move date was nearing. He had mentioned me that he would call me on a day prior to moving. But he never called and his phone always went on voicemail. I initially got a little worried but he called me on the morning of the day I had to move. He mentioned he will be on time but reached late after calling multiple times. finally 2 hrs late.
He worked pretty fast and moved my apt smoothly.
In the end he was in too much of hurry to get his money and did not even give me time to inspect if all was good and in place.
Overall it could had been better!

DO NOT HIRE!!!. Doug did not show up on our move day and did not call, leaving us hanging with no truck or assistance on the hottest weekend in June. We had to get our own truck at the last minute and I had to take time off of work to move ourselves (single mom and three kids). After I TRACKED HIM DOWN=He has promised to return my deposit, but so far has failed to do so. HE DID NOT call to inform me of the situation the weekend of the move. And yes, we did have a written agreement. Do yourself a favor and keep looking., or save your money and do it yourself…

Doug’s company was instrumental in making what could have been a very difficult move, so easy! He and his helper were easy to deal with, efficient, incredibly strong and courteous. His price seemed reasonable, compared with other companies I called for this job. I would recommend him highly and definitely use his services again.
