Weis Markets

Their produce and meats are the best! The fruit and said items are fresh and very tasty. The meats are lean and fresh. Furthermore it is very conveniently located near Hemlock Farms where we have a vacation home so I shop there whenever I am in Hemlock.

I’d give this store more stars if they’d respond to my emails. You can ignore customers’ reasonable questions if you want, but don’t expect them to continue doing business with you. All I was looking for was a simple YES or NO, but for reasons known only to Weis, I wasn’t worth the effort.

Great supermarket with a variety of options. Weis is located right outside hemlock farms and is in an area with many other stores and 2 restaurants. The staff is lovely and helpful. They have a small, but well-​equipped gluten-​free section and their bakery is out of this world! I am not a cake-​fan, but their cakes are to die for! They are very affordable and in my opinion, better than any other supermarket up there.

alot of the food on the shelf is expired, i went to get frozen smoothies and they were from ⁶⁄₁₁. almost two years past sell date. prices are high and the store is dirty. the ladies room is gross. please check dates on the food before you buy it

I stop here on occasion, mainly after going to the movies at the cinema in the same shopping mall.
The selection is reasonably good, and their fresh vegetables and fish are OK. The store is clean. However, their prices are definitely not comparable to what one gets at the Shoprites in Liberty or Monticello. So I don’t go out of my way to shop here.

This is a great supermarket with a great selection of just about everything. The store is clean and easy to navigate. The meat selections are impressive as is the vegetable and fruit selections. The prices are reasonable. The check outlines are never too bad and with self-​checkout it is even faster. The staff is friendly and welcoming. All in all this is a godsend for locals.

mr. z’s is now weis market. same people, same prices. maybe a little cleaner. the veggies last week were horrific but mid-​fall i dont think i would expect anything different. obviously just need to check stuff before you buy.

Considering we are in the middle of no where, having a supermarket like this is a great addition.
Being that this location is right outside of Hemlock Farms which has a large Jewish population, they seem to cater to them as well. If you go to the back corner of the store they have a fairly decent kosher section. This always makes me happy to see, not just because I am Jewish, but because it shows them understanding their shoppers and trying to make them happy.
Years ago they used to carry this cheese cake pudding that my family love, so when we would go in there it was always our top dessert choice. After a while they stopped always carrying it, but if we requested it they ensured they had it the following weekend for us, which was awesome! The other desserts that they carry are pretty good too, can’t think of any we are disappointed in.
They used to be open 24 hours, then about 5 years ago they changed it to only during the summers (since there are so many snow birds), but now I believe they close at midnight all year round.
