Food was not edible… poor quality food down to the free fortune cookies. Of course I went on Sunday at full price with my daughter joining me. She goes only for pizza on any buffet. Let me tell you, besides the piece of cake I had at the end, the pizza was the only other decent thing there… pretty sad! Place was clean and bright and nicely presented. However, once you got closer to make a plate, everything was full of fat, overcooked, and stale. I do not recommend going here… I am 320 pounds and love to eat, and I found it hard trying to find something edible here… service not to great either.

Its a typical buffet place. The major star is the hibachi station. If I go back will just get from there.

To be honest, it has more than it’s share of fried food but if you can pick out some of the good things like some cooked salmon, clams, oysters, etc, you can assemble a descent meal for the price that’s not totally fried. It’s not Bellagio buffet in Vegas, but I could be tempted to go back. They tack on $ 1.69 I believe for coffee, or other drinks. Dessert is kind of a weak area. No prime rib, crab legs, etc, but it’s price reflects it. The bathrooms and place is very clean, and it seems they do take pride in it. 10% senior discount.

I think I’m done with buffets l, this place was very disappointing and deceiving. It was close by but we will never go again. As you walk in they advertise«Crab Legs» see my picture of what the«crab legs were» I basically ate nothing and wasted my hubbys money, my hubby had the hibachi he actually said it was good but at that point I was onto my main course of two grapes… Yum… Everything I tried(and I will try things but only one but tiny bite) Everything tasted fake except for those marvelous grapes that made my dinner a dinner… They had a chocolate fountain and ice cream for dessert you could dip the marshmallows into the chocolate but isn’t chocolate supposed to harden after you apply it to a fruit or marshmallow? This one did not harden… It was not eaten. Verdict: DONOTGO… DONOTWASTEYOURMONEY… Not worth any kind of price they throw at you … Happy Saturday

If you want a colon cleanse aka diarrhea this is the place !!! The food did not look appealing there was a fly over the dessert which I pointed out maybe it was part of the stale fake jello !! Don’t waste your money going to this place it’s disgusting and waiter was no where to be found !! Ewww!

The most disgusting food I have ever had. Do not go there unless you want to spend the night with your stomach turning. I repeat don’t do it!

I been here a dozen of times but I feel like the food isn’t as great as used to be when it first opened. everything I ate the last few times there tasted like it’s been sitting out for awhile. the sushi wasn’t fresh and the rice was stale around it. the waiters there too are not friendly at all. didnt pick up plates for awhile I had to flag someone else working there for a refill. there desserts are not appealing to me.

Omg did I step into the same buffet!?? What a huge letdown! Came on a Wednesday night for some crab legs and oyster, through the whole stay I did not see any. The sushi was old, the rice was hard and stale like it was sitting out for the whole day and then served. Yuck, hopefully I don’t get sick by bad fish. There was not a big selection that night. EVERYTHINGWASCOLD, I’m not exaggerating. We got a table for 2 and the table was small and dishes were piling up, our waiter saw it but ignored it. He walked past 6 times before I called him over to clean it up. Now I feel embarrassed recommending this buffet before. It’s like they went from. 5 star to a negative.

Poor experience with the food. Staff was very friendly, very helpful. The food was not exciting or interesting. Some things were even unappealing. I went on a Monday during lunch. Perhaps they don’t offer such a great variety during lunch and on weekdays. There were no oysters, no crayfish, no crabs, but they had signs for crabs. Instead of crabs there were some potatoes. A lot of food didn’t have any signage at all and I was unable to tell what it was. Overall I would only return again to see what’s available for dinner, but I would not eat anything I’ve already tried there. I’ve had better elsewhere.

The price is definitely the driving factor. The food overall is decent with some hits(shrimp with broccoli, clams in black bean sauce, chicken nuggets and fries) and misses(too buttery hibachi, weak desserts, not enough fish & quality sushi options). The servers frequently walk by the tables so you can easily flag them down. For buffet standards $ 11.99/person for Sunday lunch including seafood is a really good deal.

Me gusta mucho! Good stuff, dessert somewhat lacking but there is an endless selection in the other foods. Price is not bad, I will certainly be back here!

It’s your average local chinese/sushi buffet spot. They have a hibachi area so that was a plus but overall food itself was mediocre. However the price is really cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. We were there for dinner on a wkend and it was 11.99. Also it’s byob so bring your bottle of red as it goes well with greasy chinese food!

I liked to occasionally, maybe every month or two, go to the Flaming Grill in Rutherford to destroy my body. However, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that I wouldn’t need to drive that far down 17 and can simply go to the one in Hawthorne. Unfortunately, I’ve been but once since I’ve heard of its opening and it was during lunchtime. And it was awesome. Honestly, for 7.50(I think it was 7.49), this place cannot be beat. Their«Hibachi» grill alone is probably worth the 7.50, and all of the accessory food is also delicious. Obviously the price will go up a bit with a soda(absolutely necessary at a buffet such as this), but still probably one of the most calorie-dollar efficient places around.

I’ve been to a few buffet’s but the Flaming Grill was by far the worse I’ve ever visited. Nearly everything I picked out was cold, the sushi tasted as if it was sitting out for a long time, the deserts were below mediocre, and it was just an overall bad experience. The only reason why I gave Flaming Grill 2 stars is because the Hibachi section was pretty good. Pros: Nice decoration, Clean Bathroom, Hibachi. Cons: Cold food, Sush was bad, Deserts were bad. Ultimately just stay away. Sorry Flaming, I live 5 minutes away and was hoping this was going to be a local spot of mine but it was just bad. I hope you guys turn it around.

Just went there for the first time with my husband and son. Place is presentable and has a large seating area. Meals all tasted really good… soooo why do we all have the RUNS right after we leave and get home!!! Husband felt nauseous and dizzy. Kid and I spent the rest of the night in the bathroom. Come back??? I don’t think so.

I went tonight with my bestfriend who couldn’t stop raving about it. The food was great. Waiters were super friendly and very efficient to remove dirty plates from your eating area. I am definitely going back. For $ 11 a plate who can beat it?!

My review is based on other similar Asian Buffets. My wife and I went on a Sunday which is all day Dinner for $ 11.99/person with drinks being extra but free refills, a great value for this type of buffet. Flaming Grill is a typical Asian style buffet that serves a fairly decent variety of foods to choose from. There definitely are some highs and lows at this particular buffet. The place is clean as far as I could tell, should be since it opened fairly recently. They have a small sushi buffet and I was not really impressed. The Tuna looked like it had been pureed and was dry and flavorless. I also found the rice to be overly sweet with not enough of the vinegar coming through The California Rolls were the most palatable. Around the corner from the sushi was three selection of some Korean items, a seasoned tofu, seaweed salad and spicy baby octopus. All three of these items were tasty and I went back for additional helpings. There was a lot of seafood to choose from, raw oysters that were fresh and tasty, craw-fish in a boil(most likely frozen but good non the less) streamed mahogany clams, peel and eat shrimp. fried calamari and assorted fillets of fish. You also have a selection of Chinese staples that were typical for these types of buffets, good but nothing to write home about.. the high point here is the Hibachi but it really is a Mongolian style grill. You fill your plate with a variety of veggies, noodles, rice and protein(shrimp, chicken, beef, and steak) then pass that to the cook and he sautes it with a sauce of your choice. Between the fish and hibachi you feel that you get your monies worth. They do not have an ice cream machine like some other buffets and the desserts were too sweet for my taste. The one thing I would like is Korean owned Buffets add more Korean dishes because when they do the dishes tend to be some of the better choices.

Flaming Grill Buffet is quite the best $ 10 buffet money can buy. What shines here is the wide selection of foods, speedy hibachi self-serve grill, the wide assortment of sushi and delicious desserts. Service is speedy and the hosts/waiters are attentive. This location is near identical to the location in East Rutherford with minor food differences. The food is fresh and the choices vary. The only difference I’ve noticed is that patrons must pay before being seated, which in my opinion makes the whole dining process more efficient especially with the high volume of diners. This is a great place to go to with friends and/or family, especially if you’re not looking to break the bank. This place is better than your typical Asian-style buffet; with its high value I will be checking out this place again.
