Super disappointed. I typically love ordering from here. Tonight I had undercooked pink chicken in my saltado, it was disgusting!!!

In anticipation of the Pollo Inka Express opening in Hawaiian Gardens and since I was in the area I decided to try the food at this El Pollo Inka. And since I had a good experience at El Pollo Imperial I wanted to compare. I am disappointed. ¼ chicken(dark meat), cilantro rice, and beans for $ 5.99 + tax. Chicken skin was well seasoned but the remainder lacked flavor, cilantro rice was dry, and the beans were good. Salchipapa for $ 3.75, not good at all. Maybe the kids will like it but Salchipapa with ketchup and mustard just doesn’t taste good to me. Terrible aftertaste make sure you have some type of mint or gum(something really sour) nearby.

The Lomo Sandwich was way better than i expected. To top it off the Salchipapas just made my night. I have never tried them but they were amazing. Definitely recommend this place. It was a late night drive thru for us since we had the munchies. The only thing is that they ran out of chicken. Maybe because it was close to closing time. The staff was very nice though. Two thumbs up. if this gave me options for emojis I would of thrown like 5 thumbs up.

I am saddened to write this review. I am not sure what is going at my only favorite Peruvian restaurant chain. Their manager Nadia Lozano is uneducated and the poorest manager I have ever spoken too. She has no clue what customer service is and especially no idea what customer service is at all. The manager that I have normally dealt with is apparently on vacation for two weeks. So if you have an issue in the next two weeks good luck getting any help. Last time I checked salsa crilloa is not just raw red onion. Also I did not know that pollo saltado included burning the onion. I know that most of your customers maybe of latin, but that does not mean that we deserve subpar service that is inedible. I am absolutely appalled that this what El pollo inka considers good customer service. Nadia should be fired. I am sorry but getting into an argument going back and forth with a customer service may work in her hood but should not work in a business environment. The best line from Nadia«since you said you know the owners you should have their phone numbers» that was her response to my statement«would you like to take my name and number to have them call me back». You are how a national franchise and this is who you employ. The only decent place for Peruvian food and now I have no desire to go back. This includes the restaurants as well. Thanks for ruining everything Nadia Lozano.

Great express Peruvian food place and love their taste. Good thing is locals stop by to buy their food in drive in service.

This was the best and quicker way to get your Pollo Inka fix without having to sit at the restaurant and $hell out almost double the amount(+tip) for a good meal. I say WAS because it’s definitely gone downhill lately. Their staff is rude and I get it, they’re trying to get you in and out quickly but good customer service should never be sacrificed to save a few minutes. The quality of their food has also gone way down, now it does feel like fast food that was just thrown together and not something cooked to order like it did when it first opened. Slowly but surely their portions and great taste have been scaled down too. I used to get the Vainitas de Pollo without rice and they would give me salad instead, last time I was there I got a box with a handful of green beans and maybe 4 – 5 pieces of chicken; not even a complete meal! I think ordering to-go orders from their restaurants is now the way to go, this way at least you can double check your order without someone rushing you out the door! Sad though, because that defeats the whole purpose of Inka EXPRESS… Step it up guys, we loved y’all! Order ahead! The drive thru is eternal…

Everyone don’t go to this place there service suck I ordered 2 lomo saltado’s with fries on the side after I got home I checked my bag I was missing both fries so I decided to call them an inform them that they have forgotten to put my fries in my bag so I spoke to a manger named(Evelyn) I believe she told me that she was very sorry and told me to come back when ever to get a full free meal so she we’ll have my name in the system and all I have to do is just tell them my name so today I went there I got to the window I told the lady about what the manager told me she checked in the system and it said that oh I can give u a full free meal but I can give u a refund for the fries WTF is that what u guys do just say what ever to shut a customer up I ended up paying full and told he I don’t want the refund since u guys are big fat Lier’s!!! not to mention line is long and mover super slow don’t go there!!!

Very tasty food and a great value! Call ahead or go through the drive-thru because they are always busy.

This place has really gone downhill. I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but my hope is that someone in management sees this and does something about it. The service is not always great and I have now had more negative experiences than positive ones. The workers once mixed up my order with someone else and treated me as if I was the one that made a mistake. I received no apology and ended up waiting 30 minutes to get my food. The food is often bland, the soup is never consistent and the fries taste as they were heated in a microwave. This is not okay. This restaurant is sometimes great and I know that Its not their intention to serve a bad meal but I should never have to wonder if my food is going to taste good. They recently raised prices which is fine but a little quality and hospitality would go a long way. I’ve been coming to this place since it opened and I now have no desire to return.

Growing up eating nothing but Peruvian food all of my life. This little hole in the wall hits the spot every time!!! Whenever, I’m in the mood for some of mom’s home cooking or just wanting to eat the best food in the world!!! This place along with the service is great and the food is always well portioned.

So happy they opened a drive thru! Went two days in a row. I order the pollo saltado, side of plantains and maracuya(which comes bottled). It’s so delicious! The staff is friendly and efficient. The drive thru line tends to get long around typical lunch and dinner hours but the wait is never to long. Definitely will be back very soon, perhaps for lunch today :)

Great food, hour long drive through. Service seems efficient maybe it’s just the food that takes forever to cook!

You can get El Pollo Inka food without getting out of your car and the food taste just like you picked it up from the restaurant. That’s worth 5 stars right there. The drive through can get packed during the usual rush hour times. You can also sit down and eat inside the restaurant if you want.

So good. Loved how the food came out steaming! Definitely will come back. It’s our first time eating Peruvian food and I think it did a great job at being the intro. Used fresh ingredients and completely homemade!

For it be fast food Peruvian from El Pollo Inca, I say it was pretty darn good. I love that I got platanos for $ 1.00 more and under $ 10 I had lomo Salgado, platanos, soup and the yummy green sauce! Love it! Quick! Great customer service and it was lunch time on a Monday, and food was yummy. I’ll be back

Have you ever craved GOOD food, but didn’t feel like cooking, going out, or even getting out of the car? Yeah, McDonald’s doesn’t sell that. I didn’t even know what to put into Google/Yelp search. Tasty homemade — like drive-thru? Whatever. I lucked up upon the algorithm for Pollo Enka Express. The line would have been enough to turn me away(at least 8 cars deep), but see my food mood above. So I waited. Meanwhile, I perused the menu. Being at a Peruvian place, I got what I always do: Losado – beef. It came with soup. God, that chipotle chicken soup is SO good. I could have had another bowl of that and called it a day. But then came the main dish. Beef not as tender as I would like it, but all the flavors were still there. Great way to get your fix in without the sit-down wait or tip.

What a disappointment! Tonight was my second time at this location. … the first visit was ok but this time was such an awful experience. I ordered the Lomo saltado sandwich and here comes the first issue… … we got to the window and the lady told us they are out of soup and they only have salad left. … I’m like. .ok. what about a side of french fries? She is like«no french fries». … didn’t think of that little fact until i got home and noticed that my sandwich, that was suppose to have french fries in it, … instead it had FAKESTRINGFRENCHFRIESFROM A F-ING BAG!!! really? After 20 minutes waiting in line they didn’t bother telling me that they were out of soup for both our combos and french fries too. …NICE FOODISGOOD… COSTUMERSERVICEISTHEWORST!

I did not know this place existed until recently… a friend at work met me here for lunch during work. I was expecting the same Pollo Inka that you visit with table servers and menus… Instead it’s their quick serve location that serves all of their most popular items off their full restaurant menus. They have a rotisserie oven that makes chicken too. I had the chaufa dish and it was massive. I think it was around $ 8? I had it for multiple meals leftover the next days. Great value and the flavors match what you eat at the restaurant. I think I’m going to just come here for take out instead of the other restaurants in the area. I don’t eat in much at this place anyway, may as well save a few bucks.

New Lomo Sandwich — under $ 6, includes a soup… hey guys, how bout’ a drink too-jk-no I’m not! ;) So it’s lomo, grilled onions and tomato(like the lomo saltado) except it has little like fry chips– not fries — and it comes in a bolio– like the ones you buy at a panaderia. I wasnt too impressed. might’ve been the little fry chips… it didnt feel right… fries wouldve felt right… just sayin’.
