Very displeased. The glue from my last gel mani was not fully taken off before applying the new one. Nails were not evenly painted and were left without paint on the sides. They also left glue and nail polish on my nails. Will not go back. Only giving a star because I don’t have the option to give no stars.

I absolutely love VIP nails! Customer service is great! Judy makes sure you leave satisfied. Ray does excellent pedicures. Chris is wonderful as well. They are a pleasure to talk to. This salon is very clean and sanitary. I always leave feeling satisfied and happy. Go to VIP nails and you will be happy you did. It’s a small town feel and always a relaxing enjoyable experience.

This has to be by far the nail salon with the worst customer service! They don’t speak to you only speak to each other. I asked for acrylic refill but the owner refilled with powder and glue, that’s NOT what I asked for! Nails were uneven, with the worst art work and was charged $ 50. 2 of my fingers were bleeding around the cuticle too!

Unfortunately my experience was this: VIP was dirty, unsanitary, and my nails look like they were painted by my second grader. I was surprised with this, as the reviews were good and the staff was very nice. Sadly, I won’t be going back :(

Fastest pedi I’ve gotten — less than 30 mins which I guess was ideal since I went during my one hour lunch break. I had a male pedicurist — he barely cleaned the cuticle around my toenails, barely cleaned the dead/dry skin on my feet, and let’s say I could have painted my toenails myself. Nice people but did not like the quality of their work. At the time I paid $ 20 for a pedi and were advertising $ 27 for a pedi/mani.
Conclusion — It was my first and last time.

I have short and weak nail and when I started to visit this na salone they explained to me how to take care of my nail to make stronger condition for long term. It was really helpful. After over six month my nail got stronger as way I wanted. I like this place.

This place gives great pedicures! Good location in the «business district» of Hawthorne.
Now, if you want a manicure, just make sure you don’t have the manager, Judy, work on you. She does not like to take the time to do regular manicures, and will rush the process. Last 2 times I received a manicure there, she worked on me and barely went through all the usual steps. What happened to the hand massage with lotion? Cuticle trimming? The quick shoulder massage when your nails are drying?
I should have just given myself a manicure, it would have been cheaper and probably looked the same.
