Wow! Breakfast was outstanding and the service friendly and efficient (ie outstanding as well). Had The Owl hash browns and had a very hard time putting my fork down. Usually I eat only half my breakfast, and that’s what I should have done because half was enough, but it was that good. Hubby had the eggs Benedict with their special ham. The hollandaise was a little different, but he said it was good and cleaned his plate. Definitely someplace we have to return to because I am going to be dreaming about those potatoes.

Let me just say walking in the door I wasn’t sure what to expect. It reminds me of a little café where everyone’s grandparents come for food on a Sunday after church! Our server was to the point, no bells or whistles, and provided us excellent service. We ordered chicken fried steak, with hash browns and eggs. The food was so good, that I didn’t want to stop eating until my plate was empty. I don’t normally like hash browns because they usually are frozen then cooked, but you can tell these are fresh! I would definitely come back, this place tastes like home. Not to mention our bill was very reasonable. I will definitely come back!

Got the owl stuffed hash browns and eggs. Hash browns were stuffed and extra crispy. Eggs were scrambled light and fluffy, toast was lightly buttered. Everything was great, wish I could get this back home.

I have lived in Coeur d’Alene for almost 14 years and just tried this. We will now be regulars. I had crepes, sons had French toast, buscits and gravy and an omelet. Hash browns are sooooo yummy!

Great food. Good local business. Biscuits and gravy are large and delicious.
The location doesn’t look like much but it is a typical small town dinner on the inside. I would eat here over Dennys or IHOP every time.

Love being able to have breakfast all day. 2 eggs, toast, hash browns, and FANTASTIC bacon! Four thick, meaty slices cooked to perfection
Not a fancy place but clean, friendly and the food was great. Will definitely be back to try say ah gravy and biscuits

This is the best breakfast in town! The old fashioned hearty grease spoon type. The small location and mostly older folks draws us in weekend after weekend. The chicken-​fried-​steak is not only a steal of a bargain but the golden, crispness-​without the dryness that often comes with these qualities-​of the home-​breaded chicken is absolutely delish! Our son always goes for the small plates and always enjoys a fluffy pancake. We will go time and time again, perhaps until we are one of those old couples in the corner!

This place is just up the block from mi casa and let’s just say it takes you back. Small place, lots of old timers, unchanged for decades. A local’s hangout for sure. The folks are friendly, service is prompt and polite, the prices are inexpensive, and the food is good. No complaints here, ever. Always a great choice when you’re hungry for bfast.
