This is by far the best place to enjoy a brew. I have been all over the country and I have never found a place where you could walk in and immediately feel like you’re home. Not to mention the beer is absolutely superb. I have said it many times, and I will say it again, this beer could compete with any beer on the national stage. If you are in the area you would be an idiot not to venture to Mad Bomber!

This place is great for main stream micro brews. And you can ditch the kids at triple play while you drink.

As an Army Veteran, this place not only touches my heart it explodes my pallet with excellent tasting craft beer. I use the word«craft» very generically but the Mad Bomber Brewery is far from generic. If only I had more time and money I could have spent all day talking with the outgoing Stephanie and sampling the artistic beer Tom has gifted us patrons. Thank you for your military service, we will be back very soon. For those who have not been to this gallery of beer. Eat first because there isn’t any food, and be prepared for the vibrant smell of mash. Can’t wait for the 2nd year anniversary bash 7 November 2015.

Really cool place, came here after a long day of outdoorsy fun. Had the American Amber, really good beer! Would definitely come back if I were ever in the area!

This place has great tasting beer and amazing Staff! You can also bring food in from somewhere else, because they don’t serve food.

Great atmosphere and great beer. Didn’t have to wait and bartender was friendly. Heard about the brewery from a friend and will definitely be back to get the Claymore IPA!

For the atmosphere and fireplace and I’m sure my husband would say beer this is a five star joint, but this place limits itself too much. No non beer alcohol option. I can understand not having hard liquor… and food… But you are missing out on revenue from half of the adult population out there that hates beer, typically women who date or are married to beer drinking men who are talked into coming to your establishment. I would be happy with a house red and house white. But instead me and my girl friends left our men to go to Capones and give them revenue. I will let this place be where my husband goes once in a while by himself or with his guy friends… But it is definitely not a date night place.

One of the friendliest breweries around. There beer is very good and tastes different than the usual ones. There is a place near by you can order food from and they deliver it to your seat. Biggest tasting room in the area and very nice and comfortable seating. Big screens and couches make it great place for football.

Atmosphere and service at this brewery was fantastic. Seems like a great place to spend an afternoon. There were people playing games, and watching football. However, the brewing equipment is right out there… And plastic? STRANGE, and distracts from the rest of the place. The bartenders were great fun, very attentive and knew their stuff. We had a flight, the beer was pretty heavy and dark. Pretty bitter. Seems like a IPA drinkers dream. Try the Red it was good. They have a deal with the café next door for food, prices were sky high but they let you bring your own food in so you don’t starve. All in all a must check out.

Very very solid local nano brewery. I highly recommend their IPA. It is well balanced and refreshing. Great use of citra hops. The nitro stout is also delicious. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly employees. What more can you ask for?!

We’ve only been here a couple times, but it’s been an all around great atmosphere each time. Large scale homebrews. Chill, belly up tasting room. Really wish we lived closer. We’d be here every week.

The staff is amazing; Super friendly, welcoming, and efficient! I was in town for a clinical rotation for 2 months and didn’t know anyone. I randomly came across this brewery and fell in love with it! The regulars at the bar on weekends are very entertaining to hang out with and fun to get to know. There is cozy fire place with couches and lots of board games available. My first night there I was invited to a game of Apples to Apples at the bar, then another night it was an epic game of Cards Against Humanity! As for their beer, they have a lot of great options. My favorite would be the Crossfire IPA! Now that I’m no longer in the area I still can’t wait to come back and visit. Definitely worth stopping at when you’re in the area!

A buddy and I went to the Mad Bomber last night. We hit Slate Creek first, then decided to see if these guys were open. They don’t have a website that is fully functional that I could find, so we weren’t sure what their hours were. I don’t recall what they said their official hours are, but they said if they are there, they’re open. So I say if there are cars out front, try the door! The interior is clean and nice. There is plenty of seating available(the lack there-of is one of my least favorite things about Slate Creek), they have several TV’s, a nice bar, and a couch and more comfortable seats by the fireplace. I would dare to say it’s the nicest overall and largest brewery tasting room locally, and the most comfortable place to hang out and grab a local craft beer. Oh yeah, and they have an arrangement with a restaurant in the same building so they can serve food(deli style) during reasonable hours. They weren’t overly busy when we got there(after 10), and the service was great. Owner/Brewer Tom and his brother Brian(? — I’m awful with names and I was a few beers in by the end of the night) are energetic, fun to talk to, and excited to talk brewing. After a few questions about their brew system they were happy to give us a tour. There isn’t a lot to see, as in any brewhouse, but I like seeing the equipment when I go to breweries. The beer is great. We had the sampler(a pour of everything they had on tap) and a couple pints. I thought all the beers were appropriate to style, appropriately carbonated, and tasty. I liked the IPA and the IBA(India Brown Ale) the best as I like hoppy beers, and the Blonde, Amber and Porter were more mild and good for beer-ginners. I’m looking forward to trying the Benjamin Imperial IPA that is coming out in a few weeks(+/-). Soapbox: Stop buying mass produced MegaCorp flavorless beer and give these local guys a go. It’s worth it.
