they have moved address: 14870 Lightner Rd, Haymarket, VA20169 Phone:(703) 792‑8700 it is off of rt 15 if your leaving the rt 66 it will be on the right and of course on the left in the other direction, it is a big nice new clean library we reinstate our cards which was simple and left. I have gone back to look for a book and the place is clean and new really nice place but the inventory needs to catch up with the shelves. I am actually surprised actual library’s are still around hopefully this one will stay. the people were very nice and helpful and they have now started a book club once a month, on the wall when you first walk in there is a bulletin board with other notices I think I saw a game night. PS: I see some other reviews mention and one complained that the library is small well if you had ever seen what we did have you would be astounded to the size of this new one. Haymarket has only exploded with people in the last few years. shame. anyway this library is new clean and leaps and bounds from what we used to have and actually were ok with.

what a great little treasure this place is for the people in the Haymarket area. It’s just a small library, but since it’s part of the Prince William County library system, it has access to all the books in the system. If you can’t find a book you want here, you can reserve it online on the computer, and it shows up here in 1 – 2 days. How easy is that? Oh, you can also download books electronically, so I guess that’s even easier. In addition to book and audio books, they also have computers with internet connections you can use. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it’s in a very beautiful setting. A new library will be constructed about a mile south of this facility soon, which will be much bigger. In my view, it should be called the Haymarket Library vice Gainesville, but regardless of name, it’s a great public resource.

I wouldn’t call this a neighborhood library, as it’s in the middle of a park, but that’s only one of the disappointing things about this library. It’s very tiny, not much bigger than the library in the small town I grew up in, possibly even smaller. However, it isn’t organized very well, it almost seemed like books were willy nilly, comic books next to gardening books. The shelves weren’t very full, either. The staff were friendly, but I was surprised to find that they didn’t know what an ebook was, except in the context of a Kindle. They thought that I’d meant an audio book.
