All I can say is I got a fudge sundae. The ice cream has no flavor, the fudge taste chemically, and the texture of the ice cream was very off. I would not have any doubts if this place is serving day old ice cream. This place is the true definition of «If you build it, they will come.» How the hell does this place get so raved about? Mind boggling

Been here about 3 times and each time was bad. The last straw was the 3rd time going. We ordered a root beer got home took a sip and it was so disgusting. We then looked at the date and it had expired a year ago! Gross, they definitely need to check the dates on their soda. Who knows what else has expired. Also, the inside looks pretty dirty. The ice cream was pretty bad too. Definitely will not be coming back. Tried Effie’s down the street and it was delicious!

It’s delicious and convenient. The menu could be better organized, but they offer your standard comes, dips, shakes, sundaes, and my favorite, the tornado(like a DQ blizzard). Be prepared to wait on a hot day!

Great spot right behind Sheetz in Haymarket. They do take credit cards now(Visa, MasterCard). Agree with others that the sizes of soft serve can vary… but not enough to deter us from satisfying a soft serve craving!

We love Pickle Bob’s. Soooo good. Also, our dog loves the pup cup — which is always fun.

Good business or Bad business? We Went there this Sunday to try Pickle Bob’s for our 1st time. It was in the mid-90’s June day last week and ice cream sounded like a perfect treat! We anticipated stopping after our shopping trek so we brought our 2015 Entertainment Book with us. It was a 2 for 1 but the coupon expired Dec 31,2014?. Surely it was a misprint or typo. Nope! We were told they would not accept the coupon per the owner. I will never go back. Principle you see, I don’t reward poorly run establishments.

Hubby, pup, and I just went here for the first time! Our dog had her first pup cup + loved it. It’s a cute little shack + the employees are really friendly. I wish there was more seating + more flavors, too. I’ve had better ice cream. But it’s still a fun place + the prices are decent.

A good destination to grab a cone, shake or other treat in the Haymarket area if you are local to the are or passing down I-66 and need a quick break! This was my 1st visit and I had one of my teenage daughters with me. First thing I noticed that didn’t impress was the menu board price for a bottle of water $ 2.50, equal to a soda bottle. That is just silly pricing tactics because it defies common knowledge of water bottle prices vs bottle of Coke. Should be half that. Although the pricing is generally on the higher side, it isn’t that bad and Pickle Bob’s is good, tasty fun. The shake and banana split we got was good, cones and all looked great. The banana split was worth the $ 5+ dollars it is so giant you must use two hands to carry the loaded boat and really push to eat it! We’ll come back!

Pretty much everyone I talk to loves this place. LOVESIT. Despite living here 2 years I had never been because I never have cash on me and until now they only took cash. I really hate to post a negative review, but with the worst ice cream that has ever passed my lips, this negative review has to be posted. And now I am just utterly confused by the popularity of this place. I decided to stop by around 1 on a Thursday. I have seen them with long long lines in the evening and didn’t care to wait out in the heat. As expected it was empty at this time. I just got a twist cone dipped in chocolate. Medium size. Can’t go wrong there, right? In my old home state of Utah there was a local place that sold MASSIVE cones, chocolate dipped for $ 00.89. So I was a little disappointed to be paying over $ 3 for my craving, but oh well, as long as it was good. I was further disappointed to see how small the cone was. It was a little pathetic. Maybe they accidentally gave me a small? But I took it to go and made my way home. To add salt to the wound not only was it small and over priced, it was terrible. The ice cream didn’t have any flavor. A twist cone doesn’t usually have tons of flavor but this had NO flavor. It was so weird. But that wasn’t the end of it, on top of that, the chocolate dipping coated my mouth with the nastiest waxy texture and had the most horrific after taste. You know when you are spraying on some perfume and accidentally get some in your mouth, that’s what it was like. Not cool. It certainly did not satisfy my craving of the rich fudge-like chocolate dipped cone of my home state. Pretty much inedible and went in the trash upon getting home. The employees were really nice, but sadly I will not be back.

The young employees will run this place into the ground if they don’t shape up. A handful of us in line were told we wouldn’t be served bc «the cashier wants to leave, she has to be back at 9 in the morning.» I said«wow, 9am, that’s pretty late considering most people get up at 5 or 6am for work.» It’s a mess behind the counter. I can hear and see one of the girls grunting because she seems overwhelmed. It didn’t make me feel welcome. However, the owner has spoken with me. She is SO sweet and apologized for this experience. That made a huge difference. Customer satisfaction can make it or break it. Because of her, I will definitely go back.

Yuk, expensive-stale cone. Taste like whip cream, powdery and so much air. Go to KuleYO’s in Dominion, 12 flavors oall natural 50 toppings to choose from and the prices are very resonble

Maybe it was off day but the order took forever. I’ve had some amazing ice cream so maybe my expectations were too high when I came here.

This place is pretty awesome! The icecream is excellent and it is a fun little place. If in the area is definitely worth the stop for both locals and out of towers. Good for Kids too! Enjoy! I will be back and recommend this place.

A cute little ice cream stop shop in Haymarket! Everyone here are super nice & helpful. They offer a ½ Sundae ½ Shake item that looks amazing! I didn’t get(which I regret), but then I saw someone who ordered it & it looked delish! I did enjoy their cookies n crème w/malt shake. I don’t see a lot of ice creameries that offer the«malt» flavor. I liked it a lot. Me & my fam all got shakes & my mom in law loved her dreamsicle shake. Yes, they do serve pickels here too. I love that. Makes you think of pregnant ladies coming to get their pickel ice cream fix. That’s cute.

I’m glad I don’t live very close to this place because is probably gain a lot of weight getting a cone or shake while I get gas at the Sheet next door. Their stuff is pretty good. I had a Oreo Shake but next time I’ll try the Peanut Butter shake. They also have flavors that they can drizzle over ice cream comes. I tried a little of the orange on vanilla. It’s not bad, but I probably would have chosen another flavor if it was mine.
