It’s has to be one of the worst spa I have ever been to, the girl tried to give me a wax but she had no idea what she was doing, my manicure is horrible, she put way to much paint n it never dried, Do Not Go Here

Update after using their hair services. Ava is the best! She did a phenomenal job correcting my bad box color job and gave me a sophisticated cut and blow out. I’m definitely going back. Also I eyed the mail area for cleanliness and am happy to say it looked quite clean. I think the issue in there is the terrible lighting, which makes everything look unwelcoming. But the staff are great and I love the aced a products.

I CAN NOT recommend this SPA? The girls are polite enough, but the quality of work leaves a lot to be desired. I found most if the equipment dirty and not well kept. I watched them clean and it wasn’t up to state regs. Sorry girls spend your money elsewhere!

Have not come here in a long time. Today I saw «Tee» he is a college kid and has been there a month. I thought I had an excellent pedicure– best one in a long time. My manicure looks great too! I will be back, especially if his manicure lasts! Thanks Tee!

If you are a person who has used Aveda and believes in the quality and experience in a true Aveda salon, avoid this dump. They don’t even take Pure Privilege cards.
I fully expect Unilocal to block my review since they don’t want to see anything but rave reviews, and they like to make my reviews disappear, but I’m wasting my time and posting anyway.

After moving from Falls Church, I couldn’t find a single nail salon in Haymarket/Gainesville that did a shellac manicure that lasted more than five days. I was driving back to Falls Church every two weeks just for a manicure! I finally tried Angie at Solace and she knew exactly what to do to make my shellac last. She’s fantastic and detail-oriented.

Not anything to brag about. I was disappointed with the appearance and cleanliness or should I say absence of…
I am not a fan and have had way better pedicures and full sets. They were not horrible, but I would not recommend them.

They are very nice ladies & do a great job. Mimi did my spa pedicure & gel nails (no tips, no filing down your nails! AWESOME!!). I am blown away that they remembered me & my mother-in-law when we hadn’t been there in a good 2 years. They remember everything you’ve talked about, it was really cool. I’m sure there’s a trick to it, I could sure use it to my advantage. Mimi also gave me a neck & shoulder massage while my hands were under the uv lamp. It was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back!

They make you feel right at home. :-) Tanya, in Nails, is VERY good with acrylics and pedicures. And her mother gives good neck and shoulder massages, too! Also, their pedicure chairs are very comfortable and relaxing — the big heated and massaging type.

I recently had a gel refill by Heidi. It was so poorly done, there were ridges and rough spots on every nail. I had to go back and have the owner correct it for me. I wasted another 45 minutes of my time. Would never have Heidi do work on my nails again.
