Back in the day when I ran track in high school I always looked forward to running in track meets on this track. It’s so spongey, I could almost always run faster races than any other track in the league. It’s easier on your feet, ankles, knees… your whole body.

Awesome Track! Its easy on your knees and just feels like you’re RUNNINGONPILLOWS! i usually run here on my sprint days. and i love it. it usually isn’t crowded early in the weekdays and definitely not crowded early on the weekends. the football feels great to run on too. I love doing my football suicides on them, again its like running on pillows! the track is lined pretty well. and if you come during a time when its a little crowded and don’t like running around people or into people you can follow the pathway that surrounds the track and bleachers and i believe that 3 laps equal a mile on that path. Running up Bleachers are great too! and they’ve got a few soccer fields and a baseball field that surrounds the track so you have a lot of options to get your workout on! so get it in, DOWORK and GETFIT!

Nice synthetic running track. Great for sprints, long distances, and even just get to get your walk on. You can also run the bleachers to spice it up.

I’ve searched high and low for a great track to run long distance and sprint. HALLELUJAH! I’ve finally found it here at Chabot College. Athletics track are made out of rubber synthetic, tartan, to give it that bouncy feel and more gentle on the ankles. Chabot has a nice tartan track. No bumps/cracks. As a great track should be, it’s smooth, well-lined. To the tune of UB40’s «The Way You Do The Things You Do»: You got a track so nice. You know you could host the Olympics. I’m running on you so fast. You know you got the best tartan. The way you so smooth under my feet. You know you ain’t got cracks/bumps. And baby so, so smooth. You know you got the best track.
