A little pricey for a sandwich. But not more than any other shop .

Sad when you spend $ 13 on a meal then say it’s
75cents for a refill. Cash only on the refill? I told the lady I only have a card and she’s like not my problem. What happened to customer service? Food was okay. But stop penny pinching over a refill.

Just a quick stop for something to eat. Found the best peach lemonade. Fresh peach diced up … Have to say it’s so good! The Philly cheesesteak was good too! I added jalapeños to it. And it was really good! The workers were sweet. I will come back just for this!

Best place to eat in the mall. Cheesesteaks are always hot, fresh and tasty. The fries are perfectly cooked and taste delicious. Bonus points for the seasoning salt and malt vinegar. On top of that, staff is always friendly here. Will have to try the lemonade here as people say that it’s
Only thing is the pricing. Total came to over $ 11 for a regular sized sandwich with regular fries and a soda. A little pricey but I would rather pay a little more for some good food. Will be back for sure!

Short and simple for my first review of the new year. Ive never heard of Charleys Grilled Subs before but really needed to try them since ive got a yummy history with Cheesesteak subs. Overall chili cheese fries are amazing not enough chili or cheses but portion is better when ur not trying to eat much. I ordered the first thing on the menu Cheese steak sub, with everything on it and grilled onions and asked for jalapenos, FREE JALAPENOS! extra jalapenos porfavor. They were stingy with there jalapenos.. Still love u cook lady. My steak got cold after i finish eating my first half of the sub, so better eat fast.
Their Strawberry Lemonade is their straberry lemonade. Now to go to the arcade, yeaih! Lol. Fun

I went yesterday to get a steak philly. It smelled much better than it taste. The meat taste fake, and dry. I asked the lady for extra mayo, and she gave me a hesitant look as if I offended the sandwich.
The guy making the sandwiches was pretty nice. I may eventually go back and try something different, but definitely not anything with the «steak».

I must say… the best chicken philly I have had in a while! The chicken is so moist and tender. The onions saudade to a golden brown and bursting with flavor with every bite. The bell peppers are just as awesome. All of which is topped and held together by a slice of white American cheese. It is all cradled in between the toasted walls of a roll like no other. The lightly toasted crust flakes off with a bite and you immediately savor the soft pillowy bread and the flavor it offers. As you bite through and have all of these flavors hit your tongue all at once… It is an experience like no other. You’ll want to experience it over and over again…

Had lunch here today after shopping i order the Philly cheese stake and they’re cheese fries the Philly cheese stake was okay and the cheese fries was ehhh. Not worth it and they do give you a very all portion.

Thanks Charley’s for a delicious lunch. The lettuce was fresh the bacon was crispy. I ordered the bacon 3 cheese and added some mushroom and onion. The fully loaded gourmet fries and the large strawberry lemonade (which, by the way, was correctly done; with the strawberry purée not the syrup.) five stars as far as a cheesesteak goes.

Ight. I’m not in a really good mood right now so imma make this review simple, fast and easy. Yall need to step ya game up and hurry up with my food, it took 30mins just to get my food. That’s unacceptable, if I was the manager I would fire all yall. The management should know that the weekends are the busy days so they should have enough common sense to have more workers on the floor. Ive manage before so I know how the fast food industry works.

Good sandwich, not great. The flavor was good but the portions were on the small to average size. The fries are fantastic! Too bad this place is in the Southland Mall or I would be coming here once a week for sure.

I have to knock off a star.
I received somewhat poor service yesterday.
My food also got to me a little (I basically raced to the restroom when I was at Target).
My cashier was friendly, but she couldn’t hear well.
I had to indicate 3 times that I wanted Dr. Pepper (I was rude about it because I hate having to repeat myself). She thought that I wanted Barq’s Root Beer.
She also asked me too many questions (I felt pressured to order cheese fries).
Later, after my order was ready, I had to return to the kiosk to ask for some napkins (I received a fair number, but the napkins here are cheap).
I was upset, and I think my order was rushed because of it.
Despite that, my sandwich could have been hotter.
I didn’t recognize the employees here.
I liked the ones in the past better.
The menu was recently redesigned.
It’s larger and more colorful now (the menu could have been easier to read before).
Bravo.

I was charged $ 1.64 for my extra meat.
That’s fine (I expected that), but my receipt totally confused me at first.
Extra Meat was simply labeled as Extra Meat in the past (I briefly thought that I had been charged for not taking my food to go).
If you order a Combo, it costs $.44 to upgrade to a Large Soft Drink.
To upgrade to Regular Cheese Fries costs $ 1.09.
Large Bacon 3Cheese Combo ($ 13.06– my total was actually $ 16.22 because of the upgrades I wanted): ⁸⁄₁₀.
(The price of this sandwich goes up by about $.20 each year– a Large is now $ 9.80).
My roll was fine (my son liked the pieces that I fed him), and my son and I both enjoyed the meat (you might be disappointed if you don’t order extra meat).
I added some Steak Sauce to my sandwich for flavor.
I received a few slices of bacon. They were tasty and not overly fatty.
My cheese fries were pretty good, but nothing special. I received a lot of cheese sauce, but it was generic (my son rejected the fry that I gave him). I would have enjoyed some Original Fries more (the only issue with them is that they’re only truly good after you add Seasoned Salt).

Second time here. When I first realized this place was in Southland, my value of it went down, but it’s actually a pretty good sandwich place. The first time I got a turkey sub and it was AMAZING. This time I got the chicken california and I definitely don’t like the texture of the chicken versus the turkey. They have a decent variety, about 6 chicken sandwiches, some turkey, and some philly cheese steak sandwiches. The sandwiches don’t have as many condiment options as Togos, Subway, or Quiznos.
They also have a bunch of «upgraded» fries with cheese and other options, don’t recall them.
A small is $ 4.69, Large $ 6 and some change and a family size one too.
They currently have a deal for a small chicken sub and fries for $ 4.99 which makes the fries only 30 cents!

Charley’s is located in the Southland Food Court.
I got the grilled chicken cheese sub special with everything on it. It was pretty good. The special came with the fries which were superb. Although the fries are pretty thick and have the potato skins still on them, they were very crispy and tasty. Really great crunchy fries.
Service was fine. Get the fries when you go.

I enjoyed every component of our meal here.
We got the bacon Three Cheese Steak. I got mine with lettuce and tomatoes. The lettuce was crispy, the meat was tasty. I love cheese, so no complaints there.
The strawberry lemonade not only did not disappoint, I think it’s the only time I was able to get the strawberry in the straw with ease… seriously! I have grown accustomed to a portion of the drink going to waste because of stuck strawberries in the straws, not here. That was a refreshing surprise, and the taste of the lemonade was very good.
We had cheddar ranch and bacon fries. The fries were perfectly crisp, the cheese sauce flavorful.
This was a really pleasant surprise, I’m sure we’ll be back again.

Nothing special here plain old cheesesteak sandwich, bland the bun they served it on reminded me of the semi stell hot dog bun I paid about $ 10 for sandwich and fries the fries are pretty good will not return don’t recommend this cheesesteak shop. Plus they gave me indigestion and my stomach hurts.

Pretty good. Plenty of flavor. A large meal with sandwich, fries and a drink will set u back about 12 $ bacon cheddar ranch fries were good. Only complaint was the fries were a little saugy. But overall it was good and I would return.

I love their kiwi lemonade, I love that the always make the sandwich fresh to order. Yummy and good to my Tummy

When me and Ang go to lunch, its a 50 – 50 chance we will end up here. Their grilled sandwiches are delicious. I always order the philly cheesesteak sandwich with the fries and drink.
I sprinkle my fries with some of the seasoning they have out rather the usual salt for flavoring. Service is quick. good place to grab a hot sandwich.
They have a stamp card for 8 sandwiches. get one free!.. I always just give my stamp to Ang. but maybe I should start having my own?

this place is sooo goood. most definitely beats the cheese steak shop! not as good as hoagy steaks in south hayward but if you’re at the mall and want a cheesesteak, this shit is ON HIT. i love it. fries are on point too. no need for explanation, just go.
