I hate the fact that their donuts are so delicious, not just the donuts but the croissants stuffed with cheese and jalapeños or the macaroons dipped in chocolate or the main reason i come here the croissant saturated in glazed sugar and raisins in the middle that’s the closest thing to a cinnabon I’ve ever tasted. When ever in headed to heyward and I’m feeling particularly destructive to my diet I stop off here first and I suggest you do the same.

Donuts were just ok. Extremely disappointed with the éclair. No cream in the éclair?!?

Donut factory offers a variety of delicious donuts and a large selection of coffee. The donuts that I purchased was the glazed fluffy donut. It was delicious soft and sweet. The employees were very friendly and helpful. If you’re in the area looking for an amazing sweet treat or just in the mood for delicious donuts check them out. Reminder: cash only.

Another ordinary donut shop in Hayward. The seating area is pretty spacious. But, i rarely see people eating inside. Well, there are but they are mostly older men sitting by themselves eating donuts and drinking coffee. Definitely a good place to drop by for some donuts on your way to work or something. Plenty of parking right outside of the shop. You can literally be in and out of the store in 5mins. Delciious donuts!

The employees at the Donut Factory are as honest as they are great bakers! I made a pitstop there on my way to the Peninsula, for a cup of their delicious coffee, and a buttery, light croissant. Their hot coffee section has, at least, ten varities of coffee, from light to dark roast, French, Brazilian and Columbian, as well as flavored, all fresh, and steeping in large black thermoses. I went for the French light roast, with real half and half from the fridge. They charge one of the most reasonable prices for a great cup of coffee in the whole area! I was thinking about lunch later, and so, I also bought some sparking lime water and a diet coke. Their pastry case caught my eye. The fruit pastries glistened like pink and ruby gems, and I just had to stop and look! As I gazed into the pastry case, I saw beautifully glazed fruit stuffed croissants, chocolate and caramel glazed donuts and bars, sugar glazed and plain french twists, buttermilk bars, as well as a great selection of bagels… YUM! I pointed to a large, fresh croissant, as my final choice. Anyway, I was in a hurry, so I paid for my items, said, «Have a great day!», and rushed out the door. It wasn’t until I had gotten to the San Mateo Bridge toll station, when I realized in embarrassment, that I had dashed out of the Donut Factory, leaving my wallet vulnerably resting in plain view, on top of the bakery pastry counter! Frantically, as soon as I reached the other side of the bridge, I called the Donut Factory,(oh, and by the way, and the kindly bridge folks charged me 25.00 for not having the 5.00 toll, an expensive mistake on my part!). The woman at the Donut Factory answering the phone could hear my panic, and quickly and calmly said, that they found my wallet. I sighed a hugh sigh of relief! I was not able to retrieve my wallet until the next day. I went early in the morning; and, after looking at my work ID, which I was wearing, and having me verify what was in the wallet, they gave me back my fully intact wallet, with all the cash and all the credit cards in it! So, I am giving a SHOUTOUT to the Donut Factory, and honest establishment, with lucious, beautifully made pastries and delicious, well priced coffee!

the donuts LOOKED really good but because they don’t take credit cards I couldn’t buy any. Really??? What century are they in? Taking some other payment form other than cash is a minimum requirement in my book

CASHONLY. Went here this morning before the football games. Prices are good, 4 huge donuts for less than $ 6. Great: Chocolate glazed long donut Cinnamon-sugar long twist Apple-filled glazed(but not enough apple filling — but doesn’t that always happen at CA donut places) Leave it: Cinnamon bun — yes it tasted amazing on first bite and gooey, but it was SOSWEET. Sickly sweet. My boyfriend and I couldn’t finish it, I had to eat the rest of it hours later after I had recovered from the sugar rush. Overall: All the donuts were light and fluffy, chocolate wasn’t too sweet, I would just avoid anything with their frosting — it’s just too much.

My coworker and I stopped by after hitting up Togo’s(which is in the same parking lot) because she had been craving doughnuts for a few days. Variety wasn’t great but I wasn’t surprised as it was lunch time so it was probably just the leftovers from the morning. first thing we noticed when looking in the display case was that there were flies walking ALLOVER the the croissants. Once I saw that… I was ready to walk out. But apparently my coworker’s doughnut craving was strong enough that she still bought one. She has a stronger stomach than I cause I was like. nope, not happening. haha.

They are soooo good!(I believe) They are a family-run, local business. For me, the donuts are great, but the other stuff they have is amazing! Their cinnamon rolls are HUGE, like plate size, and only $ 1.30! They have fresh fruit cups, muffins, and best of all are the bagels. The bagels are so good you can eat it cold and plain and it’s still bomb.

This place has been the go to spot for my family for over 10 years, and hasn’t disappointed! Their donuts are fluffy and delicious, without any greasy feel or aftertaste, and the donut holes are always fantastic. The ladies working here get to know the clients, and the place is very casual(get your own cup of coffee first and sit down, then pay). This place has been known to host some classic car enthusiasts in the area chatting about their rides Sunday mornings… cute neighborhood spot.

The Donut Factory is the ideal pit stop before heading off to 880 or to the San Mateo Bridge to grab a quick bite to eat and a cup of coffee to start the day. They have an excellent selection of donuts and other high quality sweet treats that are huge and non-greasy. I highly recommend the gigantic apple turnover. It is so light and delicate and not overly sweet. It is the best apple turnover ever. Their other«must have» item is the huge cinnamon roll. It is big and heavy like a cinder block but so, incredibly, soft and yummy. Donut Factory’s cinnamon roll makes Cinnabon’s product seem like a bon-bon.

They have chess on one of the tables! There are deals on the donuts they still have left later in the afternoon. Parking lot is pretty small. Other than that, just like any donut shop.

Amazing place, great location, at least for commuters. I stop there often and they have a great selection and In my opinion, make a very good donut, The place is always packed. If you like they make a super donut that is like 12″ in diameter!
