Used for balance and crank polish services. Was not very impressed. They know their stuff, but will try to sell you bs along the way. Depending on the level of your build, it may be best to look elsewhere IMHO, I would use for a daily driver type, not for a low RA polish or .2 oz. rotating assembly balance.

Fast turnaround, straightforward explanation of what needed to be done, and I was charged what I was quoted. They even took the extra time — on a busy day — to explain to me how the rod bearing journals were ground and polished (which is pretty neat).
This shop takes their work seriously and delivers a quality service. You can see when you go in here that they are not doing it for glamor or glory.
Recommended by my engine builder and now recommended by me.

I have a sandblasting business, and one of my customers brought in a crankshaft to be media blasted, well as it turned out his crankshaft was cracked and he asked if I new where to get a replacement. I directed to Ed’s in Hayward
Carlos and Ed have very professional establishment, very courteous and also have an array of crankshafts. They had what my customer was looking for and they were able to fix the cracked crankshaft.
My customer was very happy with me for mowing about this place and he was ecstatic about being able to repair his crankshaft and doing business with Ed’s Crankshaft.
