Good food. Fast. Manager walks around asking if food was ok, which was genuine. I had the phở.

My family went to this place and absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food. The broth was just right for me. I got the #28 the combination beef noodle soup. while my wife got the #33 chicken and seafood. both noodles was superb. and they are open till later than most phở places :)

Eating here for the 2nd time in a few years, and it’s just as I remembered, disappointing. As many have noted, the broth is forgettable and probably diluted, like they’ve stretched broth all week by adding water instead of making new broth. I probably won’t come back. I hope they try new broth recipes because what they’ve got going now isn’t working. I wish the best for this business, but in order to be more successful, something has to change.

Walked in and décor was cute. Food was tasty, typical phở. But not too many options in the menu. Asked for extra condiments and received a negative response. Not sure if the man in there was the owner but he rushed us out, said he was tired and we were holding him up. Not professional at all. This happened once and we gave it another chance and again he rushed us out. If you are looking to have a hearty and relaxing meal, this isnt the place.

Came here for lunch and tried the combination phở. Broth was pretty decent. But for a «large» size it was quite«regular» good food just not enough. Nice tables and chairs. Service was ok. 3 stars.

Phở isn’t great here. Broth was too light in flavor like chicken broth and not beef broth. Bbq pork portions were so small. Little ½ inch cut pieces, 5 pieces on a skewer, two skewers. My bf’s left there still hungry and the price of Bbq pork was on the high side for those portions. Will not eat here again.

When you get phở you look for a few things: Quality of the broth Quantity of the meat Type/Quality of noodles The broth here is average, the amount of meat left me satisfied and noodles were fine. Service was good but then again there was only two other parties in the restaurant at the time I was there. I also had spring rolls here and the wrapper was a little hard to bit into because it was a bit stretchy. As I was leaving I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee which wakes you up after the Phở food coma and is hard to get wrong. Overall the food was good and since we’re in the area frequently we’ll find our way back here soon enough. Overall it’s not terrible, location is good

I have to say I really enjoyed my first visit here to Hayward Phở. The Basil was a bit overpowering for my light broth(chicken based), but that was my fault for putting so much into my phở. We ordered the roasted quail. It was really good. It came with a vinegar style dipping sauce that I found kind of unneeded, as it didn’t lend anything to the dish in my opinion. However, that being said, the calamari we ordered went delightfully well with the vinegar sauce and we loved the tenderness of the calamari. The service was a little odd, as our drinks came out after our phở and and our phở came out before our appetizers, and it felt weird and unorganized with the service. But the Thai Tea I had made up for it and made me smile. It was absolutely yummy. The pricing is completely reasonable, the staff polite and friendly, albeit slow. We will be back.

Went to lunch with the girls at work and was skeptical to try this place. But i was wrong… the food is really good, its not to much but its filling. The jasmine has good flavor. The service is excellent and the prices are good. Cant wait to go back and try something else.

Huge portion of noodles, but the phở broth tasted very diluted & watered down. Shrimp spring rolls were average. Food seems hecka bland in general, definitely not good enough to be authentic. My waitress looked and acted like she hated life working there. Overheard her talking trash to the workers in the back about a customer that wanted service, calling her(the customer) annoying in Vietnamese. She was not a warm nor welcoming person at all. Her boss, on the other hand, the older gentleman with a mustache was extremely nice! 4 stars in customer service to him! Minus one star for hiring her :/

I’ve never written a Unilocal review before, but for this restaurant, it’s only right I do. I’ve been coming here pretty much since they’ve opened and I’ve never had a bad meal here. My personal favorite is the Clay Pot, you can never go wrong with that. I’ve taken my mom and grandma here knowing they aren’t big fans of Asian food just to prove that this food is amazing. Ever since I’ve brought them, they’ve been dying to come back ever since! They phở here is great, the calamari is second to none and the chicken wings are amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a great tasting, healthy meal or to anyone who wants to satisfy their taste buds. Love this place, the owners are lovely people, so come through and support your local businesses folks!

This place has delicious phở and Thai tea! It is very clean and the staff are friendly. The wait for food isn’t long especially when it comes to take out. P.S to Unilocalers: just because you don’t like what you order(and you never tried it before), you are at fault for ordering it~

If you’re craving good and tasty phở come here. I’m a vegetarian and they had a ton of options on their menu. The waitress was kind, took my order and my soup and fresh spring rolls came out quick. Their broth is delicious! The owner came by my table to check in. I told him his restaurant is comfy, very clean and the food is great. He appreciated the feedback! No msg is used in their food. I will definitely be back when I’m craving phở!

Phở and Vietnamese coffee is so good! Salted plum soda is gross, its not the restaurants fault, me and my boyfriend wanted to try something new and salted plum soda was not our thing! I would give 5 stars but the service is not that great. The waitress never has asked what we wanted to drink and she doesn’t drop off the bill unless we ask(my second time here and they still don’t do either) usually waiters give you the bill or inform you where to pay but we didnt know till we asked about 15 minutes after we finish our food

it’s been 5 years since i ate here. eatery changes name every year, this year, twice. Unilocal still lists it as the same biz. i don’t think so. ’14 reviews look good. ’15 not so. should treat as 2 different businesses. menu probably the same. eats: phở dac biet(reg. 8) combo –noodles, beef slices tuff/chewy, meatballs cut into quarters, tendons just slivers, basil wilted –broth very sweet, broth not hot enough to cook bean sprouts, bean sprouts still raw. –no checkins. just the fly buzz over take outs: –guy came over with flyswatter to swat fly. he missed had to remind him fly was buzzing over me. he remissed one time he hit the flower vase and water spilled all over.-glad i missed that. –not recommended. menu pricing looked cheap. food ingredients even cheaper.

This has to be one of the cleanest Vietnamese restaurants in Hayward.(Hard to find) I’ve been here a few times now and it’s always been really good, every time I’ve come in the spring rolls taste fresh & the phở is good too! Service is nice as well & fast :) I’ll definitely be coming back for when I’m craving Vietnamese food!

Tastes okay, big portions. Well-done flank was like a bottomless pit of meat and noodles. Broth was very light without the msg taste. No one was in here on a Saturday but the seats and tables are nice.

My friend and I were in the neighborhood and craving phở, so we checked out this place. The interior is actually very spacious and the décor is nice! Everything is super clean and there is plenty of seating. I can’t imagine this place ever being packed, but maybe they can be. We were seated in an empty restaurant, with maybe 2 or 3 other people around. It took forever for the one waitress/cashier to take our order. The restaurant decided to increase their prices by writing«ADD50CENTSTOEACHITEM» on every page of the menu. Great marketing tactic. Anyways, we both ordered the Combination Beef Noodle Soup(Phở) and the portion was huge for both the small and large sizes. There was not much meat, and I was disappointed that there were NO beef balls even though they were promised on the menu! Sad. When the waitress brought us water, there were little flaky bit floating around. We assumed it was just lemon pulp but couldn’t be sure. If it was, why not just leave the lemon? If it’s not, then what is it? Anyways, we just stuck to our phở and MMMVIETNAMESECOFFEE! Yes, that stuff is delicious here and oh so caffeinated.
