Elliot please work on your customer service skills. You are the Store Manager, and you set a tone for your associates. You seemed annoyed with my transaction and sadly I have had this experience before at 3 other locations. This why your losing business to Best Buy. You guys really lack good customer service & friendliness.

This RadioShack is pretty basic. The inventory is limited and their selection of accessories is mostly dated. I was looking for a phone case and they one had cases for the previous model phone I have. They have a fix it station for broken smart phones and tablets. My disappointment was that they did not carrying parts for my phone. The reason was that the spare part were not available at this time. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, but it is at times thought to get some service if there are more then two or three customers. Once you have their full and undivided attention they give you top notch service. I’ll return again to check out their headphone selection and maybe see if they got the part for my phone to replace.

I needed an FM trasmitter for my car, went to radio shack before I checked amazon, just to be sure. The lady showed me the most expensive FM transmitter in the store. I didn’t take her advice because I’m not trying to spend a lot of money. When it didn’t work and I came to return it, the same lady gave me attitude saying«it didn’t work because it’s not the one I told you.» okay, yea I should have listened but you don’t need to be rude about it. I was extremely displeased and will not be returning to this radio shack again.

I came here to purchase«specialty» batteries for my car key alarm thingy at $ 4.99 each. It was a 3V flat circle kind of battery. I opened up my key alarm just to make sure I’m grabbing the right one. They have a section for batteries and«specialty» batteries. it was pretty easy to find. the end!

So, my wonderful techie geek fiancé informed me that for Valentines he was getting me a new phone. Now, since we are both a bit commitment shy, despite the fact that one of these days we are going to set a date to get(gulp) married, we don’t like contracts. So we both have Boost Mobile. Which for $ 50 flat a month we get unlimited everything, other than limiting the features they will let you use on their phones so that you actually have to BUY ringtones ect from them instead of getting cool ones bluetoothed to you from friends and casual acquaintances. Anyhow, I digress. I called ahead to Radio Shack to make sure they had the phone I wanted and the girl said they did. we walked in to the store and a helpful young man whose name on his badge sounded like a joke, since it is the name of a certain fairy tale author, asked if he could help us. I told him what phone I was looking for and that a girl told me they had it, but it wasnt hanging in the Boost mobile section. He was kind enough to go in the back and get me one and ring it up for me. He was a nice kid and very respectful although suuuuuper slow and seemed extremely confused about how to activate my new phone for me. I was getting a tad impatient and told him I could do it myself when I got home if he wanted because I activated my other phones and they were all the same. He very politely told me he had too, but this one didn’t seem the same so he was confused. Which I think was nice of him to admit. I told him I really didn’t have time to wait and I would do it myself, so he thanked me, and sent me on my way.(To give the kid credit, I was completely confused about how to activate it and ended up calling customer service at Boost. This phone is different and doesn’t have the same numbers printed on it as most of their phones and she had me hooked up in a jiffy) So, to sum up, Radio Shack, good, clean, friendly, and sells air in a can for my techie fiances obsession with keeping the insides of his baby(computer) all nice and dust free. Just a side note, unlike most brands of air in a can, theirs doesn’t have a bitterant in it, so anyone with teenagers may want to make sure their kids aren’t huffers before buying it.

Super friendly service. I walked in with that familiar«Where the hell do I start looking?”-look on my face and was kindly asked if there was something that I needed help with. You bet. After helping me search for a replacement for something that apparently did not exist in ANY store, the helpful staff quickly helped me locate something that DID exist and I happily went on my merry way. Thank you Radio Shack people!

Bad customer service here! I brought in an item that needed a power adapter. The salesperson sold me the plug and adapter. Once I got back to work, I tried it out but he had sold me the wrong plug. I called them back to tell them they sold me the wrong plug, asked if they would check stock to see if they had the correct plug. The lady on the phone refused to check stock, said I would have to come back to the store with my item, then they would find me the right plug. Weird, since I have never had a problem with other Radio Shack stores checking stock for me. I guess the employee was feeling lazy, although you would think checking stock doesn’t take much effort on her part.
