Safeway Garage Door Services

Had my worst experience with this provider last week… though found them on YP posted 29.95 service call rate and confirmed it with the dispatcher during my 1^st conversation. later she called back and confirmed the appt and then gave me a different rate ($ 70) and said holiday rate is $ 70.since I was desperate I couldn’t leverage. So they guy came (adam) and told me my garage door motor sprocket is bent. So he went on about door is too heavy and it required a bigger motor and on and on. so his recommendation was to replace rather than repair, and of course he would right.$ 575 vs $ 225. but something in my head told me this guy was just not honest so I said thanks but no thanks! and asked him, since I’m not doing either one, aren’t you going to do something like clean, lubricate as my the dispatcher said the $ 70 included minor service??? he said no and left me with an invoice of $ 70. How can you charge someone a «Service» when your there to do nothing???
