I love this cleaners! The man who runs the front is always friendly and helpful! There seamstress Veronica is the best She always help in such short notice. She’s always reliable when she say it gonna be ready, it’s waiting on me!

The are awesome, quick professional and reliable. And the seamstress Veronica can alter any garment to make it look taylor made!

This is the only place I get my clothes dry cleaned. I’ve been getting my clothes dry cleaned here since before they relocated across the street. The lady that works there is very nice (forgive me for not remembering her name). If I take alot of clothes there on a Monday I will most likely get them back the next day or the day after that. And my clothes come back fresh, crispy and clean. I’m happy with this place

I have tried this place twice and both times they did not have my clothes ready on time. both times I needed a dress hemmed. Both times I came in past the time indicated on the slip and was told to come back later. I will never come here again. I informed the seamstress of how they were not ready with my first dress and in fact gave her an extra day to complete my second dress. I am now standing in the store waiting for my second dress to be completed. It is absolutely rediculous that you pay money and you’re clothes are not ready on time. DO NOT come here if you need your clothes altered. They will not be ready.

The service is great! They are all so friendly. There was a blip recently in the clothes not being ready on time. but that was the first time in the 5 years I have been going here. I have never had anything bad happen to my clothes… and the lady who alters all of my suits. does a bang up job of it. Oh! and if you pay upfront. you get 10% off of the cost! Whoop! Saved more $$

I have mixed feelings about this place but I can’t deny that their customer service is great. The owner, seamstress, and cashier are all very kind but the one issue I’ve run into with this business is getting my clothes on time when promised. After a recent trip to pick up my garments I discovered that they hadn’t been finished yet. I returned the next day (1 day after the time promised) and one of the two items was ready for pick-​up. When she showed me the second garment and told me that one was ready as well, I stared at it dazed and confused because no alterations had been made to the top of my dress. She told me that she forgot to do that part even though I recall her writing down precisely what I wanted to change when I initially came to drop the dress off. At this point I was really peeved that even after an extra day my garments weren’t all completed. I requested a $ 20 credit from the owner and he obliged. A little ghetto but all he did was write «$ 20 credit» on the back of his business card with his signature and the date. I gave them two additional days to get the job done. Today is two days after the aforementioned and my dress was finally done! The seamstress’ quality of work is fantastic and she always fixes the item if there are additional issues after pick-​up. For the prices they charge this place is great but it would be nice if they worked on meeting their deadlines more. I paid $ 20 – 25 for dress hemming (dependent upon the material) and another $ 25 to change the bust of my dress from a wrap over V shape to a straight plunge with ½″ space between. The dress is now much more flattering for my petite frame :) I have yet to try their dry cleaning services, only alterations, but I’m sure I will soon.

I dropped my clothes off again. This is a great dry cleaners and do very well because they are good. I have done my stuff here for a long time and need more done now. Their new location is hidden but as good as before. They are always very busy and the owner is very nice guy. Pay ahead and get discounted. 19 Oct 2013

Not only is Silk Tech one of the cheapest cleaners in the Bay Area but their quality and service is wonderful. If they say it’ll be ready on Monday after 6pm, it’ll be ready.
I’m a big thrifter and have never had a problem getting my vintage finds altered at Silk Tech. I use tailor chalk to mark where I want a skirt to be hemmed and they do it perfectly without me having to spend time with the seamstress. I’ve also had dresses turned into tunics and lots of pants hemmed. They are the best!

OMG! Where did this business go with my clothes!!! I went to pick up my clothes and the business is gone with an empty store front!!! No phone call from them or any contact to come get my close!!! I am livid!!! Someone PLEASE call me with answers!!! 310−901−8057.

I’m lucky to live where I do. It’s not far from Silk Tech Cleaners. They do all my stuff right.

Silk Tech has always done a great job with my clothes. I have shirts that have a crease that goes down the sleve and most dry cleaners seem to have a problem with it, but Silk Tech has gotten it right every time. Besides always doing a nice job with my clothes, they’re quick, very friendly, and reasonably priced.

They are always friendly and the service is pretty good. If you discover that something isn’t right, they do their best to fix the problem.

All of you tall people probably don’t realize how annoying it can be for a short ass like me to have pants that are too long. My jeans will drag on the ground getting all filthy and tattered. I do not even want to think about what might be on my jeans when I walk in certain neighborhoods.
No need to worry anymore about nasty, ripped up jeans because Silk Tech does great work altering my pants for me.
We use them to dry clean and have always been happy. I didn’t think to write a review until I started getting jeans hemmed there and have been very pleased with the outcome at a reasonable price.

So far so good at Silk Tech. I’m always leery when it comes to trying a new cleaner. I spend a lot of money on my clothes and it’s hard entrusting them to cleaners who’s building looks filthy (like all cleaners it seems). It’s almost like staring down the dark dingy hall of a Rotton Robbie automatic carwash in a new Mercedes wondering, «is this thing really going to clean my car? … without scratching the paint and breaking off my mirrors?»
Back to the point. My clothes look crisp and clean. Granted, anyone who doesn’t destroy my clothes would probably make me happy (see my Delia’s Cleaners review). I also took my jacket that I thought was ruined to Silk Tech. The man behind the counter helped me better understand what happened so I could get it taken care of.
