If you have a Viking Range, DONOT call Uni-Tech. I was having trouble with the temperature on my range and found them through a Google Search. They came, diagnosed the problem without even turning on the oven and wanted to charge me nearly $ 1000 to replace the thermostat and the broiler. I just didn’t have a good feeling about the repair call so decided to eat the $ 65 service charge and called someone else… an actual Viking expert. He came with parts in hand, diagnosed and repaired a completely different problem for $ 300. My range and broiler work like a dream now. Uni-Tech has no business repairing Viking products.

Unprofessional, bad customer service, incompetent, deceiving business practices. When I called this Company Fidel answered the phone(I found out he was the owner when it was too late). he told me there was a charge of $ 65.00 for coming in which it would be deducted from the total amount of parts and labor. When he came with Cesar, the technician, he gave me a price for the cost of 2 parts plus labor. They left to come back when they got the parts. He then call me to let me know, after researching with the Manufacturer, he would only be changing one part, but some oven parts would be cleaned instead to prevent the noise that the oven made after being on for a few minutes. So, the price would be the same, not less. I accepted. I thought it was reasonable. Well, they came back; So this second time they are here he tells me he made a mistake: The $ 65.00 was separate just for coming, not included in the Total, He wrote in the Invoice that there was a 90 day Warranty for the parts and labor. They were here for about 15 or 20 minutes. He charged me the full amount in addition to the $ 65 I had already paid him the previous day. No parts were cleaned. The next day the oven made the same noise. The oven was OK for a couple of days. Then the problem which I expected to be solved when I called this Company had not been solved. The oven malfunctioned again, exactly the same problem I had when I called them. So, since they promised a 90 day Warranty I called this guy again. This time, this guy was cold and defensive, and without showing any interest in the details he started an argument telling me that It must be a separate problem, he said this even though he is not the one that made the repair. He made no attempt of honoring his written warranty. When I insisted and mentioned that he had made a written promise of customer satisfaction, and that the oven had the same problem as before, he hanged up on me after he said that I should call somebody else. I called him again and he did not pick up the phone. I then left a message in his voice mail telling him that I was going to tell about the bad experience so others do not make the mistake I made in using his Company. I sincerely hope I am able to protect others from being ripped off by this guy. I finally got a referral, I wished I had before I call this people, and got a true professionally managed Company, competent technician, reasonable, and decent. I own a small Restaurant, and I have used the service of at least 10 Technicians. This Company is the worst by far I ever encountered.

These guys are the best! I wish I had called them first. After another repair company completely ruined my Viking Refrigerator, I called Cesar. First, he answered the phone on a Sunday. Then he arrived at my house within 5 minutes of our scheduled time. Within 15 minutes he told me exactly what was wrong. Unfortunately, the other repair guy had ruined my compressor, but Cesar was able to get me a new part and install it within a day. He was knowledgeable, capable, respectful of my time, and efficient. After the repair was complete, he showed me it working, explained exactly how it would come back to life, and showed me the improper weld the other guy had done that had ruined it. I cannot say enough about what a pleasure it was to meet Cesar, especially after my disaster with the other company. He restored my faith in repairmen!
