Pros: Shower pressure and temperature was nice. Breakfast was decent. Lobby area nice. Cons: Dirty room. Cobwebs in corner. Shower caulking and door were moldy/filthy in parts. Wallpaper peeling. Furniture was outdated(did not look anything like photos), but at that didn’t seem to matter as the bedroom felt clean(except for cobweb). First day — we had«do not disturb sign» on door and housekeeping started banging on door at 11am yelling and asking if we wanted service. We said yes, but were working on homework and will be out in about an hour. Apparently we missed them, and the room was not serviced that day. Next day — We left around 11 and still saw housekeeping in the hallway, assumed there wouldn’t be a problem. Came back around 10, and first of all neither of our room keys worked and we had to wait for someone to bring them to us. Then, we walk in and all that had been changed were the towels. We were nearly out of soap and they hadn’t replaced any of the complimentary items(soap, shampoo, paper/plastic cups, etc). Bed hadn’t been made and trash hadn’t been taken out. Really disappointing. Did they put us in the gross room and decide not to clean because we booked through priceline? Do not recommend.

I stayed in one of the suites and enjoyed having a kitchen and living room while being away from home. The king size bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. The staff were all very nice and helpful and the manager(Sunny) was very friendly and outgoing. I would recommend this hotel.

Clean, obviously updated since the reviews on here. Brand new bathroom(but no radiator so its cold) plain simple, perfect to just come to sleep, nothing fancy. The woman at the front desk was nice and helpful. The lobby seemed a little out dated, old smellibg, but the rooms have obviously had an update. Bed was comfy and clean. For the one night we stayed here i have to say it was good and comfortable

Room was alright, the guy with beer belly at front desk during check in was obnoxious and would start yelling to talk over you. I asked him twice to quit yelling at me and he shook his head like I was the problem. The morning staff was awesome. The young Spanish lady at front desk was kind and sweet. A genuine person. The breakfast was pre packaged eggs and sausage, but was tolerable. The coffee was pretty good considering. I would ditch the guy running the front desk if I were them. He would be a good drill sergeant. Maybe he once was. Oh yea, the bathroom was really nice for 1960, I actually really loved it. I think the heyday for this place was the 60’s 70’s. the workmanship in the bathroom is still nice after all these years. If I remodeled the place I would leave the bathrooms as you can’t get that quality out of affordable hotels these days

If your looking for a cooker cutter Holiday Inn or something of that nature, this is not your place. But if you want something cute and with character come here. It is older buy well maintained. We had one of the small rooms with a queen but it was cute and the tv and bathroom fixtures are new. We stayed here on Pocono race weekend in August 2012. They have a small bar on sight and you get a small voucher towards a drink with your stay. Breakfast is included and they have microwavable burritos along with other selections. They also have a nice looking pool that we did not get to utilize. I would stay here again if in the area.
