I received a purse over the holidays from a non-​local. I’m local to the East Bay, the gift giver was not and had visited over the summer. I finally got up to Clutch to return it (perfect condition/​tags on) and ask for store credit.
The woman working said since my gift giver had purchased it in July, and she wouldn’t give me store credit. I would have understood that if the purse was no longer there — however, weirdly, the same exact purse was on full display — NOT ON SALE?! Why would it matter if I received store credit for an item and just did an inventory swap?
Bad customer service generally — wouldn’t have made a bit of difference in their bottom line and I would have walked away with something I liked.

A must visit. My last 2 bags are from this little gem!!! Unique selection of locally made items!

Last time we were up nothing struck my fancy here, but a very cool and reasonable line by Cettu caught my eye. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even able to accomodate 3 charge cards for my bag… we all giggled calling it a 3-​way!!! I must stay I’m still in love with my bag and happy knowing it is unique!

A must do in Healdsburg!

The selection is small, but very well chosen, some you will recognize, some new brands. YEA for small, unique shops!

Great name, great store.
I always visit Clutch when I am in Healdsburg — they carry a very tight and well-​rounded assortment of the latest bags to the classics. I would feel very confident buying an expensive bag here, because each item is selected so carefully with different tastes and budgets in mind.
You’ll find Longchamps to MARC by Marc Jacobs, and the new line of Chilewich pouches and totes, as well as some less familiar, interesting lines.
It was here that I recently bought a new wallet that I love more than any wallet I have ever owned. The woman helping me told me of its merits, and how many people have called and written after purchasing one to tell her how happy they are with it. It is FANTASTIC — if you need a new wallet, one that holds all of your stuff easily including a checkbook, a pen, and yes, even a slim phone (like a Razor) while maintaining its beautiful rectangular shape — check out the Abas. A wallet that is both practical, and doubles as an evening bag? Now that is something!
If you are in Healdsburg, and you love handbags, stop in. Before long, this store will have you in its Clutch-​es. (ouch)
