Crown Donuts

Seriously gorgeous, decadent, delicious and so friggin’ hot… oh, I thought I was writing a review about my wife! Ha!
We had the distinct pleasure of trying the mini donuts from Crown Donuts on our return trip home. We were passing through Kilmarnock when the wife’s eagle eyes spotted the red Crown Donuts trailer. «Look! They have fresh donuts!» Before she could finish her sentence, this fat boy parked the car and was halfway across the street.
I picked up ½ a dozen of their mini donuts from a very personable silver haired lady. In addition to the donuts, they also sold special dipping sauces for an extra $ 1. The lady was a hoot and happily handed over 6 piping hot donuts for just $ 2.50! As I thanked her and started to walk away, she jokingly asked with a smile, «You sure you don’t want 2 dozen to take home?»
«I think I’m good with ½ a dozen, but thank you very much for these treats… I just had breakfast and shouldn’t even be eating these little donuts.»
«Oh you’ll like them and trust me, you’ll be back!» She said with a cute smile as I headed back to my car. As I closed the door of the car, our little chariot was filled with the phenomenal scent of freshly made cake donuts. I handed one to the wife, another to Monkey A and Monkey Z and then stuffed my face with my own mini treat…

The mini donuts served up by the fine folks at Crown Donuts are truly a fat boy’s dream come true! They are the perfectly sized donuts with a sweet freshness that sends your taste buds into orgasmic overdrive. We were already a few miles away from the Crown Donut trailer, but were truly tempted to turn around and pick up a few more for the long ride home. Thankfully we stayed the course and promised to return sometime soon…
Oh man, i wish I had ½ of dozen of their donuts right now!
