We have stayed at this Red Roof numerous times over the past two years, when we are off duty or having the truck repaired. We have NEVER seen NOR have we been bitten by any sort of bugs! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rates are the best in the area. We have spent thousands of dollars over the past two and a half years staying there. It is our go to place !! Clay’s Café has good food, super soups, terrific salads, and they deliver.

Ugh! So we booked this hotel through (that’s a whole other review) and let’s just say this was a way less than stellar. The room we were in was decent enough, except that the air conditioning was not really acting as an air conditioner should, like blowing cold air. It makes it really hard to sleep when you’re sweating from the humidity. We ask the front clerk for a different room and she advised there was only a smoking room available(nasty!!!) or that she could give us a fan(gee thanks!). We also called Priceline«customer service» and they called the front desk and the lady at the front desk told them«No we’ve had no complaints about the air conditioner.» Ok so needless to say, unless you don’t mind sweating while trying to sleep, enjoy your stay here.

Bed bugs. Bed bugs. Bed bugs. Owners too cheap to properly exterminate. Staff confirmed that bed bugs are a problem in multiple rooms.

This is right at the exit off I-70. It”s a truck stop location. There is the usual greasy spoon stuff across the street. Not for me. I asked the desk clerk for any suggestions and she said to try Clay’s Café, which was on point. Rooms are spacious and clean, and include free WiFi, microwave, and refrigerator. The rates are the best in the area, particularly if you can get a group rate like AAA, or AARP, etc. Would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. Other hotels are ten miles away in Heath.
