Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Way overpriced. Maintenance man(wreaking of alcohol) came up to us on the balcony and told us we couldn’t be outside. We just stepped out, so it wasn’t due to us being loud. When I asked him if that was part of the policy he basically dodged the question by trying to hit on me and my sister. Later on in the night he attempted to invite himself into the room! Highly inappropriate. Place was filthy; unidentifiable stains on the bathroom walls, sheets, carpet, etc. All of the TV channels were fuzzy and no remote. Only one of the wall plugins worked. The only reason I gave it one star is because of its location. So if you’re not bothered by creepy old men hitting on you, potential bacterial infections, or wasting your money… this is the place for you!

We were excited to finally get away on at trip to Helen, GA! We noticed Alpine Valley Inn on and we booked it! Please note do not believe the pictures on the site, the pictures didn’t do the place any justice. It was almost like a switch and bait! The room had insects, water damage, mold, they claim to give you a fridge and microwave upon request but there isn’t one! Even when you request them, they don’t give you another one! The bed had stains, actual stains… ewww! The furniture was water damaged and the room smelled of mold! Now to add insult to injury the lady at the desk was very condescending and very rude! She yelled at my significant other repeatedly and she was so angry, so we asked for a refund and she said we were there for more than 15 minutes! Note we had to move two rooms during the stay!
