I had a patty melt and the place was pretty empty. The waitress was attentive and the food was delicious.
We were here during Oktoberfest so there was nowhere else to go after midnight really.
The only thing of note was one of the patrons was a bit unruly and refusing to pay for some items. The cops were called and he decided to pay rather than go the legal route.

We just ate here last night. The cook/​chef was awesome! Good food. Cooked perfectly. We were very happy. It was late at night too… With two kids. We couldn’t have asked for better service or food! My wife, who really doesn’t eat a lot, ate most of her country fried steak and sides! Then she took the rest to go! I really can’t say more about the cook… He knows what he is doing!

Came to get a quick grilled cheese. Took them over 30 minutes. There were only 2 people working and they were not busy by any means. Destiny was our server and another female was on the grill. I would not come here again. The only reason we stayed was for my 5 year old nephew. He really wanted a grilled cheese.

Well on this rainy day we walked up to the Huddle House and there was a line we waited for around 15min to be seated and their turn was totally amazing, the team work and unification effort that took place during this rush period was totally unbelievable — I work in a major corporation and this was amazing — FOOD totally fresh hot and delicious PRICES tell me where do you get a breakfast for 3.99 egg, hash browns, toast and another side …
quick, fast, clean and seamless so next time when in Helen, GA… for the money the experience is the best and you do get a full fresh breakfast kudos

We’ve sat here for the past 30 minutes and have only received half of our drinks. It isn’t even at full capacity and it seems like everyone is waiting on food. I’m very disappointed.

Ordered drinks, 10 minutes later they took our drink order again, 20 minutes to get half of our drink order, 10 minutes to get the drink order right.
30 minutes after ordering food they told us they are out of biscuits. Then after our food came other people got biscuits.
Several parts of food order were wrong.
1⁄10 would not recommend.

First of all, Miranda was our waitress and she was great and very friendly but we had to ask for several things including silverware (lol), food was ok, hasbrowns a lil too crispy and grits were like a rock, did the trick of filling us up but wont be back, I tried to get my friends to go to Hofer bakery and café’ but they declined, next time they can go to HH and I’ll go elsewhere.

This Huddle House was painted to match the quaint Helen community, but that’s where the effort ended. Service was friendly but s.l.o.w…
When the order came out it was wrong, but there was no way we would wait to have it corrected.
Food was decent, but I regretted not finding a better breakfast spot.

Why? Why did I visit a Huddle?
Oh yes, because my husband told me it would be delicious. It was alright, but I wouldn’t say delicious. Especially not after spending the rest of the day in the bathroom.

Up in Hellen for a wedding, my husband and i walked over to get some breakfast, BAD idea! Staff was not able to handle a busy morning. Everyone was was super nice but it took 45 – 50 mins to get our food and the grits took even longer.

It has been several years since I visited this location, but I went after a weekend getaway in the mountains & I remember raving over everything! The bacon was cooked to perfect (so much so that after eating what we had ordered we went for another round of just bacon), the service, & the cook (a younger gentlemen). I’m sure times have changed a bit, but back in the day everyone was extremely personable & knew how to cook some breakfast. Will have to try this again someday soon & maybe give a bit of a more updated review.

Stopped by for lunch on our way for a hike. Our group of 5 was a bit hungover, and squeezed into a booth meant for 4. After ordering, we asked the waitress if they had a chair, there was no way we could comfortably eat. She was nice & found a chair.
When the food came out, the toasted melt sandwiches were burnt, my eggs were cooked over too high of heat and were rubbery. Michelle had French toast with her breakfast & it was blackened too.
We should have just gone to Wendy’s.
