The Dillard House

It’s a family style southern buffet. Here’s my review
1. Food quality — just okay
2. Cleanness — Bad, my mom had to ask them to changer her spoon.
3. Service quality — Very, Extremely bad!!!
4. Busy? — Yes Don’t ever go on Thanksgiving Days
5. What happened? — While we were eating, one of the server or (bus boy?) was cleaning the other table and he carried too much things he basically dumped those to my husband and our table.
6. Did he apologized? — Yes, but he just say he’s sorry, and did not clean the mass.
7. What did your server said? — She came over to our table and asked us just regular question ‘is everything okay?’ Look at our table dumb bitxx does looks okay?
8. Called manager? — Yes, because server didn’t clean any mass, doesn’t even realized what happened to our table, so we called manager.
9. What manager said? — Just sorry and want them to clean and bring out fresh meal again.
10. What was my respond? — We already lost our appetite, we do not want to eat at there no more.
11. Final– When you get your check, you pay at outside register, we mention that one of the meal we do not want to pay it because of that incident. Cashier was super rude, she didn’t even want to listen and not say sorry that we went thru those horrible experience.
She was extremely rude and just tell us to pay the check. So yes, we paid okay it’s fine. And when we turn around, other cashier asked her what happened, and she said ‘Oh they just want to get a free food’ — This I heard from my husband when we came back.
They basically doesn’t do anything because they know that we came from different town.
How they treated us was extremely bad, if they cleaned right away and apologized to us from heart I won’t get this upset. But since I am Asian, and everyone was white folks there (Yes it’s fucxxx country!!) they were just super rude and racist. NEVER want to go those country side restaurant.

We have been here a few times, depends on the server you get and how busy they are. One time we went and there was a huge group before us so they were out of a lot of things. When all the food is there and you get the right server, it is wonderful experience!!! Will definitely be back!

Good food but overpriced. Southern cuisine that is focused more on portions than quality. A good experience to say you’ve «been there, done that.» Beyond that, there is far better food elsewhere.

Me personally people say this place have good food the food wasn’t good the food was awful service was bad thing when you go out you should get good service is my first time and my last time
