Recently relocated to the 2000 block of Helena Ave, and offering a fairly impressive depth of menu for a food truck. It is, however(and expectedly) heavy on the fried/boiled meat/starch, so don’t be expecting a salad and a Chicken Caesar wrap. For the record, wraps aren’t my thing anyway. This is more along the lines of «meatballs on a stick». Really. They are on the menu, along with other fried delights. The staff(owner, I suspect) if friendly, and seeks to tailor your order to fit, and service is quick, and drive-up. In summary, Helena finally has two semi-permanent food trucks/trailers. Finally the street dining options are expanding. Unfortunately, although they are doing a great job, Helena is not lacking in burger/fried/sausage/potato joints, so I don’t see this as filling a gap, or rectifying an inadequacy, except that is a real, live, honest-to-god, food truck. We need more of them, in the taco, bahn mi, Korean BBQ, scotch egg, pupusa, and wiener schnitzel vein.
