Known for chicken dinner. Deffinatly a local favorite but over rated. Looked good but just felt food had no flavor. Casino, bar and Pepsi products. I think you can do better than here.

Chicken was good, chicken wings were AWFUL. They were overcooked and stringy. It was unfortunate because they weren’t even edible after swamping them with the delicious honey bbq sauce they brought out in a squirting bottle. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was classic chicken joint. I found the champagne — chicken combo an interesting pairing for $ 150 in case you’re in the mood to celebrate something awesome with champagne and chicken… this is your go-​to place in Helena, just don’t get the wings for an appetizer!

Everyone talks about the chicken. Don’t believe the hype. The double cheeseburger will change your life. Hands down, top 5, no make that top 3 burgers I’ve ever had. They provide easy Tesla charging for all of the Teslas in Helena too!

Have been here few times. The chicken is pretty good. It’s flavorful and juicy. Though I don’t like their Jo-Jo’s, wish they had just regular fries. The service is fast, the staff is attentive. The prices are right.
Pretty dissent amount of good food for your buck.
So everything is all right, but nothing extraordinary. Will I come back? Sure, I will. Wanna try their cheese cake, rumor has it’s like from Cheese Cake Factory.

Dear Suds Hut,
Thank you for existing. Until I tasted your food, I was convinced that every meal prepared in Helena, MT was required to contain ingredients that were scooped out of a cat’s litter box.
The chicken is really good, the beer is ice cold, but the burger is absolutely brilliant.
Please take a moment to think about the best day of your life (kid being born, hitting the Powerball, whatever) and jot that moment down on a piece of paper. Why? Because once you have the Suds Hut double cheeseburger, you’ll forget about that stupid, meaningless day and all of your thoughts moving forward will be about the burger. Don’t believe me? The Surgeon General is quoted as saying, «the addictive Suds Hut double cheeseburger makes crystal meth look like watered-​down decaffeinated coffee». I couldn’t agree more.

We came here cause the chicken was recommended by a couple of people but was greatly disappointed, I am hoping we came at the wrong time but the chicken just wasn’t all that great, the chicken at Albertsons was better. The reason why I give them 3 stars is because we also ordered the cheeseburger sliders and they were amazing. they actually tasted like if I made it at home. if we come here again, we will order a burger hoping it tastes as good as the sliders.

We both had the chicken and it was really good. Not greasy it was hot just came out the broiler the skin was crispy and the meat was moist and steaming hot. The Jo-​Jos (steak fries) were hot too. Salads were so-​so. Nice selection of micro beers.

Worth a stop. Three of us had dinner on a Monday night and it was filled with customers. The service was quick and polite. The food was fine. I enjoyed all of the different sauces.

It’s ok… last time I ate they were doing ceiling work and dust was going in my food. I didn’t finish… otherwise it’s really good food. Just a bad experience.

Well I got to try the famous chicken. Had wing and breast!!! The chicken was juicy and really good. They served Jo Jo’s and a salad!!! I was amazed with all the food they gave me and I got all that at under $ 8. The staff was friendly and my server Tracie did an amazing job making feel like one of the locals!!! If you are ever in Helena Montana don’t for get to check out this place!!!

I wasn’t thrilled with the cheeseburger the first time around. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and visited a second time to try their «famous» chicken dinner. I really wanted to like it, I really did. But it was dry and tasteless. Honestly I’ve had better fried chicken from the grocery store deli. It’s a shame because the suds hut has a real historical local presence in town and could really do SO much better. I won’t be visiting again.

Food was good, it always is. However, service was subpar. We waited about 10 mins, then I had to ask for a waitress. When she finally came she did apologize. After she dropped off our food, we didn’t hear from her again until she dropped off the check. This was a 10% tip day.

Our service was good. The beer was served in a goblet like cup which was top heavy and I little difficult but it looked rather neat. The chicken was pretty good and so were the potato wedges. I could have lived without the overcooked fries and my husband said his ribs were not seasoned. Thank goodness they had a ton of different sauces for him to use. Pretty decent place. Just not amazing. My chicken was rather small for the price but my experience was not bad.
