Decided to take a road trip to «Hell» and specifically to eat in the diner. While my sandwich was OK, I’m rating this 4 star because I had an absolutely amazing waitress. She went above what I consider great service. I thought she undercharged me and I even asked if she was correct. I’ll make another trip again, everyone should stop in Hell, Michigan once. At least to say they’ve been to Hell and back.

Wow! Homemade and delicious! What a surprise to walk into this simple, «Hell» themed, diner to find fresh ground beef and homemade breads, chips, pasties, and more. This chef/owner is serving up fresh ingredients and top notch flavor. We had a regular hamburger and the Hellacious Cuban. Both were excellent! Planning a return visit very soon to try the fish fry and craft beers. Helluva a place!

I’ve been in twice and my wife has also and two of the times together. We were very disappointed with the attitude of the cook who I’m pretty sure is the owner. Cursing in front of kids, farted loud as heck in the kitchen when cooking my food and pretty rude to us twice. He’s not good with the public maybe if someone else was the face of the business the experience would be better. Finally and not to be picky but the side/back has junk everywhere who the heck wants to sit out there and look at all of that.

Located in the general store in downtown Hell, MI. Great food in a cool Hell themed environment. You can even get married here in Hell and have your wedding catered. They have the best pasties in the lower peninsula, they call them«down north style» with all the traditional U.P. Fillings and a delicious gravy on top. I had the beef and rutabaga and it was delicious.
