I used to come here often. it appears the yogurt does not taste the same nor is the texture the same. I preferred to go to Menchies now although it’s a chain there appears to be a consistency with their yogurt.

Good yogurt! Great topping selection! My frozen yogurt guru daughter’s favorite! Smaller and more intimate than most. I was frustrated that there were no sample cups. I don’t know if that is typical.

I like this place. It is always very clean and the fruit is fresh. They are also helpful. My favorite flavor is the Mango. If you are on this side of Bandera road … I would definitely recommend this place!

had the tart like I always get. Tasted exactly as I’d imagine. they have a lot of toppings but the strawberries were a bit over ripe and the blueberries were tart. they also lacked my favorite toppings condensed milk and honey!

Frozen yogurt, or FroYo as some call it.(Nobody does anymore so please don’t). After a meal at Pei Wei’s. I was wondering what to do and I just threw the words frozen yogurt out. My girlfriend asked«Are you to full for yogurt?» to which I replied, «Who is ever to full for yogurt?!» The perpetual foodie question was thrown out there, chain or local? There was no question that local wins 9 out of 10 times. So, she directed me towards Yogi’s. As you walk in to the cool quaint ambiance that, your eyes immediately hit the toppings station at the front of the establishment, for which there are a plethora. You’re ears are at the same time taken to on a free trip the islands by the background reggae music. Now to the yogurt. Well I was pleasantly surprised by the wall of yogurt machines i came upon. As I was an obvious newcomer and gawked at the sight, the teenage and helpful clerk came around from behind the register asking if we’d been here before. I had not so he quickly ran back and got a stack of tasting cups and selected some of his favorites. As he left me with several cups to try more, he aslo warned of how quickly the yogurt dispensed from the machine. I had my share of tall cones in a thimble size cups and over my hand. Flavors were abundant. Cookies and cream, vanilla, Texas tart, pomegranate raspberry, coconut, and the list goes on. The flavors and combinations alone would easily cap out a 140 word Tweet. Now, I don’t know if there is such a thing as a yogurt purist, but when t comes to frozen yogurt, I expect it to taste fresh and light. A flavor of cookies and cream or cake batter doesn’t seem to fit the model. After loading my quite large«small» cup with raspberry pomegranate and coconut yogurt, I proceeded to the toppings station. This is a self serve location all around with fresh fruit, a large selection of chopped nuts, yes candies too as well a a wide selection of syrups and drizzles, even Aunt Jemima pancake syrup for your treat if you’re daring enough. My final surprise was the way you were charged, by weight. It brings a new meaning to you are what you eat. Was it tasty? Yes. Who’s was better? My girlfriends. But I had nobody to blame but myself. Would I come back? Definitely. This was a nice relaxing treat after a heavy meal and the Texas summer heat.

This is my local Yogurt shop… and by that I simply mean that out of the 3 or 4 yogurt shop within a few miles of my house… this is the best… and I have tried them all. I love the feel and style of the place. It’s has a modern look with a little through back to and old«ice cream» shop. Great choice of toppings. One thing I notice is how the staff is consistently filling, cleaning around and simply taking care of the toppings… which could easily become a mess. Oh, the Frozen Yogurt! I took the opportunity to mix the coconut and pineapple(Pina Colada… yum) and you could actually SEE little flakes of coconut and little pieces of pineapple in the yogurt. Show me that at another Fro-yo place! My son even had little pieces of cookie left in the bottom of his cup from his cookies n’ cream. Not sure how they make it so «real» but they sure do. Great place and you can find me there… a lot.

Good variety of flavors. I’m not really one to need a gigantic selection when going to get froyo because even after tasting new flavors, I(not all the time but) usually still end up with cake batter or strawberry. They do, on the other hand, have several toppings to choose from. You can tell they use liquid as opposed to powder in their yogurt, which is awesome! Place is always really clean and organized, and staff is usually very friendly and will greet you upon entering. Doesn’t hurt that it’s minutes away from where we live! There’s another place down the road which is even closer but when I need a quick froyo fix without having to go out of my way to get it, this is definitely my first choice. Support your local froyo business. ;)

The place is right next to Oolong, my favorite Chinese restaurant in SA, and we decided to try it. I asked for a sample cup so I can try a few of the flavors and was turned off by the girl telling me she has to do it. LIke I can’t pull the lever for a sample. If I can do it for myself when I’m purchasing the yogurt, why can’t I do it for a sample. The yogurt was OK. I was not particularly impressed with the yogurt selection. The coffee fro-yo was very good. Also, the woman at the register didn’t know how much the fro-yo was. She said .45 per pound, when it’s .45 per ounce. I’m not complaining just saying if you work there, you should know how much the ONLY item you sell costs. There is another fro-yo place in the HEB plaza down the street. I will try them next time.
