Stay away. From the spinach dip was horrible… food isn’t very good for the price they are charging and everything good seems to have an upcharge Applebees use to be real good sad to say we won’t be coming back.

Appetizers were good. Pasta came out cold with a hot plate? My wife’s pasta was mushy… second time(because they sent both back) she had pasta soup… mine was still half cold. Let’s just say we forced ourselves to have dessert so we could finish our gift card and never come back. Waitress was very nice though. Oh, my water was good too.

I would give this place a negative 5 stars but it is not an option. I usually love Applebee’s but this particular location was disgusting. Knats were flying around, the place had a pungent odor, and the managers spent most of their time on their phones. The food was ok but my appetite was quickly interrupted by the pink lipstick on my son’s drinking glass. Mind you neither my daughter or my wife wear pink lipstick. I alerted the waitress and she apologize and tried to correct the situation by offering to give my son another drink. By this time we were all disgusted and ready to go. She did not try to take the drink off the receipt or nothing. We will never return to this Applebee’s again.

Came to Applebee’s after work to meet co-workers and it has a cool relaxed vibe. Decent drinks and late night snack prices are pretty good, If I remember correctly a lot of their appetizers were half price after 11 or something like that. I know, I’m not very helpful. Hey, It’s a chain, it does the trick when necessary.

This was our first experience of Apple Bee’s here in San Antonio. It was ridiculously funny but terrible. –First of I would choose to go when I’m SICK. I couldn’t taste anything but I know for sure I was starving! … –Second we were so sad about the appetizer sampler platter that usually has a little bit of everything! We might of missed something but we did not see it on the menu. It was listed differently compared to other apple bees out of state. I guess its different else where? Idk. But that was our usual which sucks now. –Thirdly it wasn’t a surprise that our 3 and 1 year old will act up about something … the restaurant had a few flies roaming around, my husband and I honestly did not mind at all the fact that we were hungry but my 3 year old has always been scared of any bugs. so of course he kept screaming here and there throwing a tantrum every time he saw a fly or even from a far distance on the window by another table he would scream and people tried so hard not to stare. –fourthly the birthday specials!!? no song or free dessert? Lol Apple bees is my number one favorite restaurant & I guess Texas doesn’t do the birthdays… It was such a bummer. –Lastly our 1 year old kept bothering the guy behind me … His shoulder, his hair, throwing food on his side of the chair … Constantly staring at him and his wife… Thank goodness he was kind about it but it sure was embarrassing. By the time our foods were served on to our table we didn’t even get to eat and decided to just ask for to go boxes. We had hoped for the flies to go away or the appetizer platter would’ve made up for everything lol but it was a fail attempt that day. I did enjoy the mama berry drink …‘Happy Birthday to me ! Lol, Apple bees the food was great, we’ll come back hopefully on a good day.

Went there Friday night, got seated as soon as we walk in. Sat there for 15mins without know one telling us anything. We had waiters, managers and bus boy walk by us without saying a word. Got up and left, nobody ask us why. Not sure about going back to this place.

My mom and I came to the is place because we had a gift card. I really didn’t want to come but who can say no to practically free food… so I gave this place one last chance. The last time I came it was about a year ago and I wasn’t impressed with the food nor the service, hence why it was empty at that time. Tonight was a bit different it seemed pretty packed but we were seated in time with no wait. We decided to order from the 2 for $ 25 menu bc it had the 7 oz sirloin steak. Our appetizer was a side salad I ordered the Caesar salad and my mom ordered the house salad with unsweet tea. I was really underestimating the food based on my last experience. When we got our main entrée I was really impressed with how everything came out. The steak was cooked well done just how I liked it, not too dry but juicy and the broccoli had good taste, the baked potato was great as well. Service was alright she did come to our table plenty of times. Before we left I had to go to the bathroom. When I entered I was so shocked at the cleanliness in there. I won’t go into detail but that was enough for me to storm out this restaurant. I won’t be coming back here. This is the very last time I will come.

I went to this location last night and I ordered the quesadilla burger and it was really bad it was basically ground beef in two sloppy tortillas some vestiges of cheese and I could see some tomatoes and old lettuce, it was really disappointed no flavor no nothing, it used to be my favorite burger but not in this location. And also the screen that they have for payments and stuffs didn’t work for payment we have to wait for the server and it took forever(the place was almost empty now I know why).

If you have seen the movie Waiting that would describe this restaurant but worse. We come here often but slowly it has become gross. Our table was sticky(we sat in the bar area) the service was lacking. He was quick to drop the check but that was about it. There was a child in the bar area(after 10pm) playing obnoxious music and dancing close to other patrons. The restaurant had trash on the floor and employees kept walking by. There were a bunch of tables with plates on them and other servers would just walk by. When I waited tables we had a rule… don’t walk to the back with empty hands and don’t walk past a dirty table. The servers who were cut were more worried about getting a beer than helping keep their place of employment clean. Not acceptable. Oh and the smell. It smelled like a mildew covered basement. The new menu won’t help this place. It need to be deep cleaned and the staff needs to be re-trained.

To be honest, this is the 1st time I’ve ever gone to an Applebee’s, but after coming here, it sure b the last. So many good choices, but went and had the Sampler getting The Double crunch wings and crosscut ribs. Both were on point, but if u really want your taste buds 2 holla, try dipping ribs into the ranch dressing cuz it was a party in my mouth, and Project X had the sequel in it. Also had their Bahama Mama. Never had 1 of those, but after drinking 1, I know what I wanna sip on next time I’m there. Now, the only thing I was a little upset bout was the portions of the samplers. 4 wings, 4 ribs. I know it’s called the sampler, but come on, man. have at least like 5 – 6 of each, I only got 4 of each, but still filled me up, the taste of both was MUTHAFUCKINDELICIOUS, and the cost was decent. Also a good spot for pre or post dinner near Santikos Silverado 16.

Service was great but I think the bartenders need to learn when to cut other customers off, had a real drunk old lady sitting next to us who couldn’t handle her drinks and decided to mouth off to me… well unfortunately I don’t have any hair on my tounge, even if ur older. sometimes people just need to be put in their place and she sure didn’t like what I had to say. and she started a big scene we ended up leaving and taking our food to go… managers should of handled it differently after we were leaving they kept asking is everything ok… while this old lady kept on drinking…

We got the artichoke dip with chips and it was awesome, my son had 4 cheese Mac-n-cheese and it came with grilled chicken on top so that was a must for anyone in general and his order came with yogurt with strawberries on top. My wife had their street steak bourbon that she enjoyed with red potatoes, which came sizzling on an iron pan! Delicious!!! As for me, to drink I had several Blue Moon beers on tap, hit the spot so I really recommend that beer and I ordered the chicken and shrimp street bourbon which came sizzling hot with red potatoes as well, over all we enjoyed ourselves, service was great so we’ll be coming back again.

Hit Applebee’s today an hour before we were to hit a flick at the googooplex next door. The waitress reminded me of Knives Chau in search of her own Scott Pilgrim, while calling everything awesome. Frustrating enough was the fact that we had to wait 20 minutes for our queso blanco. Note that this is an appetizer where you throw chips on a plate, slop some nacho cheese in a bowl, and get it out there to the dining customer who’s becoming increasingly frustrated with the noise and mindless banter produced by the crotch rocket motorcycle gang who decided to meet at Applebee’s on a Sunday afternoon of all places. The riblets, tasty as they may have been were tragically placed in a paper lined basket. Cut into these bad boys with the utensils which separate us from two monkeys in a knife fight, and you’re cutting through the paper and making a mess on the table below. The chicken pasta dish was a bit suspect, and as a result garnered a $ 5 discount from the 2 for $ 20 deal we offered. By the time all was said and done, we had to tell our server to hurry up and get our food out because we were going to be late to our film. Although the service was friendly and the food was tasty(in the sense that I haven’t had anything explode out of my britches), the caloric assault and the lack of attention I require in an establishment where crotch rocketeers meet on Sunday’s to start Ricky Bobby-like brawls, my next visit will not come anytime soon.

My husband, daughter, and I went to this location for lunch today. There was a 40 minute wait for a table, which we understood because it was Veteran’s Day. When we were finally seated, we had to request another menu because we were given ONE for three people. We ordered an appetizer and then were not asked for our meal order until they brought that to the table. We ordered three meals and proceeded to wait. We then watched people get seated, get their meals, finish, pay, and leave, all while waiting for our meal. Forty minutes later, we still could not find our waitress so we stopped a passing waiter and asked about the food. We were told it would be right out. When it arrived, it was warm on the outside, but by no means hot. I told the waiter that I could tell it had sat under the heat lamp for quite some time, which he did not deny. He could only apologize for the“inconvenience”. We then proceeded to wait with our plates pushed away and napkins on top for almost twenty minutes for the check. We again had to stop a random waiter to get it. Once the waitress saw us putting cash in the little black check folder she showed up all perky to ask us if «everything worked out» for us. Basically, excited to get her tip. At no point did she check on us or even fill our drink glasses. This is the Applebee’s closest to our home and we will make the drive to a different location or just go to Chili’s from now one. Not a great way to treat a veteran on Verteran’s Day. Won’t be back.

Well it’s a chain restaurant so the food and menu are pretty standard, but enjoyable. Go for lunch because it’s not very busy and to take advantage of the lunch specials. They have a decent selection of beers on tap, I had a Sam Adams. They also have their cocktail list which is updated with new and exciting drinks. The crowd can vary as OConnor high school is close by as well as large shopping areas. The employees are a younger crowd but motivated and attentive for the most part. An all around good Applebee’s

I do like that the bar is now smoke free after last year’s renovations, but something is off about this location. I used to come here ridiculously too often with my family because the food was good, the servers were fun, and we could relax and munch on goodness before/after seeing a movie next door. But the past couple of times I’ve gone, the food quality has been slipping – for example, my chicken and mushroom dish was slathered in a pile of onions and there were hardly any portobellos – and all of the friendly servers are gone. The place is now always pretty empty, and it has an abandoned feel. Don’t expect management to be very welcoming here either: if you walk in from the movies with your coke in hand, not even thinking twice about it, you will be scolded and then watched for the rest of the evening. Applebee’s are a dime a dozen, but trust me: save your dime and don’t bother with this location. I’m sorry I wasted $ 50 taking my family here.
