I see that everyone has said that the food was wonderful. I sure wish I had gotten as far into the situation to have tried it. So how, may you ask, can I review a restaurant without having tried their food? Easily, based on the bigoted, hateful, derogatory, and abusive manner in which we were treated before we left, knowing we were not welcome. I am a woman and took one of my best female friends there one night for dinner with my kids. My friend is gay but doesn’t even look it but I guess put out some kind of vibe. I told her and the kids I was going to the restroom and would meet them at the table since no one greeted us after waiting in the entryway for several minutes. When I returned from the bathroom, I found my friend and kids sitting quietly and uncomfortably in a large dining room totally empty except for a couple and their small baby who was crying uncontrollably. I don’t even mind babies in restaurants(I’ve been there as a parent) but it seemed to be some premonition that things were not well here. My friend leaned across the table when I sat down and whispered, «The woman who seated us thinks we are a couple when I said my girlfriend was in the bathroom and she made me really uncomfortable by being rude when she seated us.» I felt irked. I don’t like bigots, but wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. Plus we were starving. The server came over, an older woman I have seen pictured in review below. I said hi cheerfully and asked if I could start with water while I had a chance to look over the menu since I had just sat down. She barked, «I’m not bringing you anything until you all order an entrée.» And stormed off. I was shocked and near tears and the kids were really hungry. We didn’t want to be rude, but we couldn’t stay when the staff seemed so hostile to us. So we all agreed that we would wait for the server to return and tell her our concerns about her opinion of our perceived«gayness» which was so funny to me since I am divorced with two kids and my friend is very feminine and gracious. Well we waited fifteen minutes before realizing she was not coming back, even though the place was empty. So we got up to leave and she caught us as we were walking out the door. We politely said the kids weren’t feeling well and that we would check out Chipotle for a quick meal instead. She then told us we were sure to get food poisoning and smirked. WOW. I hope she is reading this. Someone needs to let her know she has lost the company a LOT of business since this isn’t even the first site I have talked about this on. They humiliated me and my family by making a false assumption and judgement. I sure hope they aren’t claiming to be Christian or something, cuz they do NOT represent love or Jesus’ principles in ANY way.

We had our anniversary here, my boyfriend & I. The main course was delicious and the waitress was very nice. But we had a bottle of wine that was overpriced and horrible. The appetizer(calamari) was bland and overcooked. It wasn’t worth the price of dinner $ 75.00. Wanted to impress my boyfriend and instead made him question my choice in restaurants.

My husband and I went for dinner tonight and the whole experience was amazing! They had live entertainment that was at just the perfect sound level. You could carry on a conversation but still hear them performing great jazz oldies. Our server Jen was incredible! She checked on us after each course and we never had to wait for anything. The food was spot on. I had lobster ravioli and my husband had clams and steak and shrimp, all of which were perfection! Can’t wait to go back!

If you’ve been to Italy then you know this is the real Italian fresh homemade food. Love Maria(owner)and everything she brings out from her kitchen. All Pasta dishes are all phenomenal. Salads are also freshly made with homemade dressing. The only drawback is it does take a while for them to bring anything out. So expect to relax and drink wine while you wait. I’m going to keep this review short and sweet but I highly recommend this fine Italian restaurant. Maria always makes me feel like family and that’s always a plus for me.

Not what I expected — and yet so much more. I can’t say that I was really looking for too much when I ventured into the restaurant; and, getting initially greeted by the owner and having her granddaughter serve our table was the highlight of the night. They were delightful. It was like venturing back to my grandmother from Italy’s kitchen and having her make old family recipes — nostalgic, a bit messy and altogether heart warming. Oh, and the food is really darn good. But honest to goodness — the owners are just the very best! Please go, you will not be disappointed.

Enjoyed our dinner. Delicious food with great company. Our very pretty waitress, Carmela did an excellent job in providing great service to our large group. We definitely will be returning to this Ristorante.

OMG! Love the food here. The pasta is all freshly made and the blush sauce is too die for! Went during the week for an early lunch. There was only one other table there. The atmosphere was a little weird at first, but Maria was very nice and attentive. Will definitely be returning soon.

Very authentic place owned by an Italian family. Their pastas are delicious and they make fresh bread that you can buy and take home. However we went there for lunch on a Sunday and the only waitress around was the owner which is an old lady who obviously needed help. She was dragging a cart to be able to take the orders and plates from each table. I felt really bad for her. We ended up asking her to leave the water pitcher on the table so she wouldn’t have to return to us so often. Food takes a while to come out so make sure you get an appetizer. Their focaccia is delicious. Four starts because they don’t have any risotto on the menu. When I asked if a plate could be made with rice in stead of pasta I was told a big«no». What authentic place don’t have risotto???

We love Dattillos! Been coming here for years! They have the best lasagna EVER! They are true Italians with authentic taste to their food unlike places such as Olive Garden {bleh}. Every aspect about this place is so on point. The staff is wonderful, the food is EXCELLENT and the music/atmosphere is super sweet! If you get the chance, get some of the pumpkin maple or banana chocolate chip bread! You won’t be disappointed! We have taken multiple friends here and they cannot stop talking about it! The spumoni is also bomb!

Awesome! Family owned and operated, they are graciously informal and treat people like family. The Mother made us order in Italian, which I loved! I am Vegan– our server Maria Alisa knew exactly what I could eat AND the handmade pasta is vegan!!! I was in love!

I’ve fallen in love! Why have I not been here before. I love Italian food and this place has it all. We started with the calamari, so tasty. My boyfriend and I were fighting over it. It reminded me of the kind I had in Venice, Italy. Flavor memories are the best. Next up we had the caprese salad, again we were having fork fights for the last tidbits. For the main course I had the lasagna with fettuccine, meatballs, sausage and ricotta. It was really amazing. The cheese, the sauce, the pasta and the meat. A quarter of the way through and I hit the wall. I was stuffed. Red sauce wasted. Happy to have leftovers to take home with me. My boyfriend devoured his spaghetti with white wine sauce and ham(we can’t remember the name). For dessert we shared the chocolate cake or at least tried to. It was real and truly a great place. The owner came out to say hello which made the experience all the more better. The atmosphere was great and service was superior. I highly recommend coming in and trying out this place. Everything looks super yummy. I told my boyfriend we might just have to become regulars from now on.

I love the home-made food at this restaurant!!! It is fresh, fresh – FRESH! Luv the desserts, too! Over the years I’ve enjoyed the Lasagna, Penne Pasta, Rigatoni, Gourmet Pizza – oh yeah and the salads!!! Now you KNOW if I’m going to be badddd – I’M ALLIN!!! Lol I do have other favorite restaurants in town, but my loyalty for Authentic Italian Cuisine goes to Dattilo’s…

Ok, we read the reviews before comming so I knew it would be a little slow. I realize why now. The owner is an awesome old lady who takes pride in her cooking and actually talks to the table. The food is fresh, like everyone says. The quality is top notch like everyone says. The service is personable. Lets talk food, heck, thats why you are looking at this. The taste is really, really good. Fetichini Alfredo is excellent and fresh. 1 post talked about adding sausage and his $ 9 spagetti turned into$ 19… well, not quite. I added sausages and it cost and extra $ 5 for 2. They were really good. Spicy not sweet itillian sausage. We bought some bread to go. They make it all there fresh… We WILL be back… Tip: dont go unless you have time to relax because they dont turn tables like Olive Garden… this is fresh and home made.

This is the fanciest restaurant in town, and it’s great. Many times we’ve gone there, the people waiting next to us have been people who have traveled 60 miles to eat here. Mama Dattilo makes the pasta herself every morning, and does most of the baking. If you show up as soon as they open, she waits on you, too. Every item on the menu is a marvel, I hear. I’ll warn you: be careful what you order the first time. Whatever you order, you’ll love it so much that you’ll be afraid to order anything else, lest you be disappointed. I have never made it past Chicken Jerusalem, myself. Oh– and be sure to order a glass of the house Chianti!

This is what every mom and pop restaurant should be. The owners still work here and it shows a lot; If you had an Italian grandmother that has been cooking her whole life… she could open up a restaurant; or you can visit this grandmother and grandfathers place. Afraid to say to many positive things cause I really don’t want to stand in line if you guys start frequenting this spot. Completely FRESH… Amazingly so. You HAVETOTRYTHISPLACE!!! From the bread on through the pasta; even the tomato bisque was made from scratch Little lady in the back is making pasta fresh… she’s the boss and if you were Italian you’d be lucky to have cook for you. The food is not heavy and tastes incredibly healthy. The sauces are flavorful, from the bolognese to the alfredo; I’d eat here several times a week if I could; it’s that good. There is a bit of a wait due to things be made to order the masterful chef. This is now my favorite place. My only complaint; it’s not in walking distance to my house.

Absolute favorite Italian food! I don’t know how I never managed to write a review before, but we’ve been going here for about 13 years. Their tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had! None other comes close! Even when I’m stuffed, I have take some tiramisu to go. I’m absolutely shocked at some of the bad reviews I’ve seen here. I guess some were expecting Olive Garden«Italian». There was a time a couple years ago when my husband wanted to have a lunch date here on our anniversary. We were disappointed to find they weren’t open. We drove around back to park & decide on where else we could go. The owners were outside & asked if they could help us. We told them we wanted to eat but saw that they were closed. They invited us in and and we had the whole place to ourselves. That was a wonderful romantic lunch date. Maria even gave us one of her fabulous loaves of bread to take home for free.
