I ordered delivery two times here and I literally waited over an hour for chinese food that doesnt taste any better than any other place.

I tried Mexican /Chinese food from some other restaurants in Queens, where there seems to a lot of these kind of restaurants. The owner of this restaurant owns two restaurants in Rockville Centre: Shing Wong and the First Tortilla Grill. New Shing Wong is a combination of both restaurants. Got Chinese and Mexican food delivered. Chicken and broccoli was good. Chicken soft taco and quesadilla with tex mex chili were both good, although the quesadilla was a bit greasy. Ordered food at 6PM and it was delivered at 6:50PM, 6 minute drive to my house. Mexican soda was a nice change.

You should never order from a food place with an identity disorder. When we first came here I was excited because the staff was really nice. I began looking at the menu(pretty typical for most Chinese food places) and then I flipped the menu over to find Mexican food. Huh? What just happened and why? I ordered my shrimp and broccoli and left confused. I’ve never seen this but I hear it’s becoming the new normal. It just seems weird to me. That aside, the food was pretty good but a tad greasy. Again, no real surprise there.

Greasy food, Fast delivery. Decent chinese food. They sell Mexican food, do not buy that.

This place is deceiving at first. Most Mexican/Chinese restaurants are a little off, but this one seems to have figured out the perfect balance between Asian and Mexican foods. Everything here well prepared in abundant with flavor! The only downside is that when you walk in you’re not really sure what to make of it all. But I guarantee you once you try the food you’ll be glad you did.

Standard American Chinese food in an area where there are not that many choices for quick takeout. Parking in front is difficult, better to park in the bank lot next door. Family owned and operated.

At first I was skeptical of this place as it seems to sell both Chinese and Mexican food and usually with fusion restaurants that would mean subpar food. But this place is truly a diamond in the rough. An inconspicuous fast food takeout place tucked away in dreary Hempstead, «New Shing Wong Kitchen» really nailed both Chinese and Mexican cuisines and doesn’t attempt to mix the two. Truthfully, I don’t think this place knows quite what it is, but whether you’re craving Mexican or Chinese, this is the place. Correct me if I’m wrong, but even the workers seem to perplex me. The guy up front(who is super nice by the way) looks Mexican, but I heard him speaking fluent Chinese with the workers in the back(?!). Anyway, so I had some typical Chinese takeout dishes and I must say it was probably even better than a lot of other Chinese takeout places and that is saying a lot. Their Mexican dishes are fantastic too(love their fresh tortillas!). The seating is spacious and very clean. The food is super cheap and very tasty. If you’re looking for a good takeout spot, this is the place!
