upon entering I found a tightly packed shop. I asked to see some of the older books and the quality was very low grade. A stack of books I looked at all had excessive heat and water damage. Most of the back issues under the back issue table have no bags and boards which is a big no no for me as a shop that takes care of books«all books«cares about condition. They had a nice selection of statues but even after the«Shop Discount» were priced higher than other places. This rating is a 3 Star because the owner was nice and they had a nice selection of new books. I will not be back because the older books were of very poor condition and felt the care of books was not a priority.

Don’t let the outside fool you. I was expecting a very dinky little comic book shop. But wow they actually have a lot of comics. New and old. And the customer service is excellent. Now that I’ve moved down the street I’m definitely doing all my comic shopping here.

Great location and selection. Plenty of collectible products. Tom the owner is helpful and friendly. Easy to drop $ 40 or more in here on comics or figures.

Nerds Assemble! Most comic book stores are all the same, books, actions figures, and stacks of comics that stretch entire length of the store. But what Cactus Comics doesn’t have is that geek arrogance. Sometimes you walk into a comic book store and ask for the latest issue of Batman or Superman and you get a look like, «wow, can you be more pedestrian?» — Not here, they give much respect for the classics. I came here after getting my watch fixed next door and decided just to look around and see what they had in stock. They had multiple issues of old and new comics, with the cheaper comics starting at a dollar a comic, and the«higher end ones» in the racks on the wall. Cactus also has a lot of figurines and action figures behind the counter, including Adam West era Batman Marionettes. I ended up getting The Walking Dead Compendium — One. I had been meaning to grab the full Walking Dead series in Volume form, which by the way Cactus Comics carries every issue from 1 — 23, but then Thomas(the owner) hooked me up with the compendium series. At Cactus, the volumes cost about sixteen dollars each and there are currently twenty three volumes, that’s about $ 368 dollars for the full series, which by the way is still going strong. Each compendium only costs $ 50 with two currently available and the third on the way this is the best way to go. Thanks for the hook-up Thomas! FYI — You can buy these online and they are only about thirty-five dollars, but with shipping cost you’re getting real close to that fifty-dollar mark. Your best bet is to support the local guy and not Amazon; I think they’re doing ok.

I have been coming here since they opened at this location. They have a great selection of comics and statues. The owner is nice and knowledgeable about all things comic related. I will continue to go here and support the smaller comic stores

This is the place for comics, statues, & whatever u need for your collection and if they don’t have Tom can get it for you. One of the last true comic stores left… don’t pass on this store. .it would be a mistake.

Shop says open 7 days a week 11am to 7pm, call and you get a msg saying the same. Showed up on a Sunday after driving a half hour to check it out and they are closed. It’s 2pm and now I’m disappointed and upset. 2 things I was not expecting. The least you could have done is changed your msg to say you were closed.

Great new shop. Owner is very friendly and nice to chat with, giving the small business appeal. There is a good selection of trade paperbacks and new issues. Statues are present as well, I don’t collect them but they have some very nice pieces. They appear to have some great back issues in the case, but not all are priced and are not easy to view. Back issue bins are also not organized the best and limited.
