Massage 1

Been coming here for the past 6 months and I feel very lucky to live a block away. Friendly front desk and very talented therapists. I consistently work with Justin for 90 mins sessions usually and he is def gifted. I have three titanium discs in my neck so its important that someone who works on me knows what they are doing. He is always intuitive and patient with the area. His work has noticeably helped my posture, strength, upper back recovery and overall growth. Book a 90 min, you’ll luv it!

First of all, happy Mother’s Day! So pleased that they were not super busy and they kept the calm relaxing feel 100%.
My therapist name was Danielle, I hope I got that right. But she was awesome. Totally sweet and nice very helpful and honest I appreciated her not trying to upsell me services. She listened to my problem areas and truly worked on those areas. I loved that she worked on those areas but didn’t skimp on the rest of the massage. She was tattooed which I thought was great to see that in a spa atmosphere. She was so professional and I would love to go back to her. She said she does not normally work at that location but I would definitely travel to go see her wherever the other location is.
When she was done I swear it felt like I was on drugs for about the next hour haha so relaxed and euphoric. Before my visit my body was in extreme pain and when I left I was literally pain-​free. I have carpal tunnel and planter fascia and have been having a horrible shoulder pain and it was literally gone. Of course my carpal pain is slowly coming back but I think making frequent visits would do my body wonders.
The facility was clean and smelt wonderful as well. Thanks for the great experience!

I was in desperate need of a massage for painful knots in my shoulders. I found Massage1 through Unilocal.Amazingly convenient to schedule a same day massage online. Had a wonderful experience with Amelia. Felt great and had more range of motion when I left. Was super sore the next day, which I expected, but by the day after that I felt the best I’ve felt in weeks! I will be back!

This place is fantastic, AND you don’t have to sign a contract. I found this place through Unilocal and have been a client for over a year now. I recently upgraded my experience to the 90 minute massage and now I can never go back.
Amelia is the therapist I would recommend. She is fantastic and discovers knots/​tension that I never knew I had.
I have heard that all the therapists are great, though.
The place is clean and has an instant calming vibe. Did I mention that you don’t have to sign a contract? Cause that’s the best part.

New guest at this place and new to the area. Decided to try it out, and worked out perfectly. Kara was amazing; felt like brand new after she was done! Polite staff, clean place, great massage. Will come back :)

Had an hour long couples massage with the lovely jasmine and Kara. This is the most comfortable and customer friendly place I’ve ever been to. I had jasmine and she was beyond helpful and amazing. My shoulders feel better than ever before.

Since my previous review in 2014 Massage 1 has changed. They continually raise the prices every year and have now done away with the $ 5 same day re booking discount and also added on a $ 10 fee if you return more than 5 weeks after your massage. I used to get a massage here at least once a month but I have not been back since I found out they now charge $ 69.99 for a 1 hr massage if it has been more than 5 weeks since the last visit. This is just punishing customers and making them not want to come back since people cannot always come back in 5 weeks for various reasons. I am a long time customer and I am very upset about the constant price increases.

I love Massage One!!! I have had many massages in this town, including some rather pricey ones in the fancy spas on the strip. This place is hands down the best place for a massage. Gina is my regular girl. She is fantastic!!! My body is feeling better than it has in years. You get a full hour at Massage One instead of 50 minutes like most places and you cannot beat the $ 59.99 price! I really look forward to my monthly massages here!!!

Knowing I was going to be in Henderson for the whole month of February, I searched online for a massage studio to not lose massage momentum; my husband and I get massages every two weeks at home in Massachusetts. When I searched and came across Massage1, it seemed to strike the right note: a no frills, no BS full-​hour massage studio for a reasonable price with professional staff. Eddie was the therapist who gave me my massage and was professional, cordial and his touch was confident and connected to me. I did not feel my massage was a cookie cutter experience. The studio was clean and unpretentious and the staff courteous and welcoming. As I am in Las Vegas only a few times each year and a senior citizen with arthritis, I am happy to have found this place to maintain my well-​being. I rebooked and will book when I am once again in Vegas.

Ive always loved every visit here. The front desk is very inviting and professional. The lobby is always clean and tidy! I loooove looove love Amelia she is so personable and has incredibly strong hands for such a little person! Id definitely recommend no membership and better than day spa quality therapists!

I received my first massage ever by Kim J and the whole experience was absolutely wonderful! I was a little nervous but she explained everything and made me feel extremely comfortable. I will definitely be back again to see her!

Once again my fellow Unilocalers are right. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a very professional and friendly front desk. The waiting room is very pleasant as well as the massage rooms. The massage therapists are very professional and thorough. You will never feel rushed and whatever amount of time you book for a massage is exactly what you will get. The front desk is run very well both checking in and out and they are ALWAYS very pleasant and eager to help out with any questions you may have. And I don’t think you can beat Massage One’s prices either!

First time here, after being tired of being ripped off by massage envy! Massage was good, it was a quiet and relaxing environment. I like that you actually get the time advertised! Scheduled for for another next month. Easy online booking. I would just like to see more specials or promotions for longer massages!

Came here with my husband on vacation. We did a couples massage for 60 minutes. we both were in the same room. they treated us. Walked out feeling great. the price was great. I would return. The whole place was clean and professional.

The booking process was easy and the secretary was personable/​prompt. I booked a couples massage for myself and boyfriend; he requested swedish, I requested a deep tissue. I made sure to make it a point that I needed a DEEP massage since I am a ballet dancer and have very tight/​sore muscles.
We got to the salon, it was nice and clean. We were 20 minutes early to fill out the new client information to ensure we’d start our massages on time. We started a couple minutes late. Our therapists were kind and consulted with us what we needed and any particular areas we wanted worked on. I had stated the left side of my back/​glute/​hip was especially needing attention and the main reason I was in there. During the session even I told him I needed more pressure.
My boyfriend enjoyed his massage and got the relaxation he needed from it. I on the other hand did not receive anything close to a deep tissue massage and felt jipped of what I came there for. He gave me a over all body rub that felt good and tranquil, but I needed something that was going to really get into those deep muscles and knots on my left side.
I left the salon extremely disappointed that not only did my back/​hip/​glute feel exactly the same as before, but my shoulders have two knots in it now with lots of tension in my neck. I really wanted to enjoy this experience, it was something we had been planning to do for a while now, and though my boyfriend had a great experience, I had the opposite.

I’ve only been to two other massage places but Massage 1 is my favorite out of all of them.
I scheduled a 1 hour Hot Stone Massage yesterday. One word: WOW.
This was my first hot stone massage so I was a little nervous. I called before my appointment to get an idea what they would recommend for someone who wanted a relaxation massage. The receptionist was very friendly and informative and said the hot stone one would be a good one.
I arrived 15 minutes early since I knew I needed to fill out some paperwork for new clients. The vibe was clean and cute and the staff was very welcoming.
Amelia was my masseuse and she was amazing! She made me feel very comfortable and asked what I was looking for and asked me for feedback when she used the hot stones.
Overall, my experience was great. I would recommend this place to anyone.
P. S. Another plus is they don’t try selling you memberships like other places!

After my last experience I was contacted by Josh, one of the owners of Massage 1. Josh was genuinly concerned about my unhappiness and invited me back to try them again. I am always willing to give a business a second chance when they care enough to respond to a negatvie review in a positive way.
It is very apparent that Massage 1 cares about their clients and wants them to have a great experience every time. Josh paired me with a therapist that specialized more in relaxation and it was a huge difference. The massage was much more what I was used to and I left feeling very relaxed. Excellent customer service can be hard to find these days, but it is alive and well at Massage 1. Be sure to tell them what type of massage you are looking for so they can pair you with someone that will fit your needs.

Kim at the Henderson location is the right masseuse for everyone! All the staff is very welcoming.
I had a 1 hour massage 1 massage from Kim. This was my 1^st professional massage and it was above all expectations! Kim was very knowledgable and informative throughout the massage. She was very professional while still achieving a personal experience. From a first timer like myself, I WILL be making another appointment. Thank you Kim!

While I have only have only been to one other establishment like this in town, I love coming here. Everyone I have encountered has been very polite and helpful.
I wouldn’t consider myself a regular yet but I have been 5 times in the last year. I was fortunate enough to get Amelia the first time and have stuck with her. She does an amazing job and is very professional. What’s really nice is she will follow my lead on what makes me comfortable. Sometimes I feel like chatting (it helps take my mind off work) and sometimes I don’t want to talk at all.
This is the only place I think about when considering getting a massage. I would highly recommend you try it.
