Milgard Windows and Doors

Absolutely terrible experience with this company. Purchased home with their windows and 11 were defective and needed to be replaced and it was noted on inspection report prior to closing and prior owner had notified them of needed repairs. I called after closing to get repairs and first person looks up account and says no problem get measurements, I pay someone to come out and measure and call them with measurements and they schedule a under lifetime warranty replacements at no cost. A few hours later I get a call saying the warranty is void because of the home sale. I filed claim with BBB and they agreed to replace but I already had someone else replace them because I got tired of waiting, it had been over a month since they were contacted, my cost was $ 3,000 and they only offered $ 900 which I rejected. Now I get to waste my time filing a small claims complaint against them. I would strongly recommend you do not do business with this company, they are not ethical and do not stand behind their products or their promises.

When we were on vacation, someone decided to pitch a rock through my son’s bedroom window. I called my home builder to see who installed our windows and they said Milgard and gave me the phone number. From the moment I called, they were more than helpful! I spoke with Christina who walked me through what window I would need. She was pleasant and professional, and sympathetic to the situation.
The gentleman, Emilio, that came to install the new window was just as nice and professional. He was crossing the threshold of our sliding glass door and notice a part that was loose. He bent down and fixed it, and then instructed me how to fix it if it comes loose again. He also fixed a piece of stripping around my master bedroom window. I am MORE than pleased with Milgard’s customer service!!!
