The Gaming Goat

Not a great place to play card games. With over 15 places in the area to play Magic and other games, this store would be low on the list.

I am planning on getting back into MTG and I found them online. Jon greeted me as soon as I walked in and was super friendly and helped me pick out some starters since mine were thrown away some time ago. I haven’t played in 15+ years but I will definitely be back for casual play on the weekends. Great selection, great prices, and great customer service. Overall, the best card shop I’ve been to, ever. Highly recommended for anyone interested.

I really enjoyed my experience at this shop. I am from California and came to Henderson on a family vacation. Of course, I brought my decks (Magic) and wanted to get some cards that I needed, so I came here.
Upon walking in the person behind the counter greeted me. The store itself was well-​kept and there were people hanging out playing cards. It was a nice environment. While I was looking at the cards the person who was behind the counter started conversation with me, introduced himself (although I forgot his name!) and even invited me to come in on Fridays for Magic tournaments. I don’t live in Nevada but I thought that this was a nice gesture and it showed that he was welcoming and hospitable towards new customers. A+ for friendliness.
I asked him a few questions about my deck and he took the time to sit down with me and look at my deck. He laid it out suggested that I take out some cards and add in others to get the best out of my gameplay. I’ve been to other stores where the workers aren’t as attentive towards the customers needs so this made an impression on me! Another A+ for customer service.
Overall I had a great experience here and would recommend this place to friends and will be back in the future! Thanks Gaming Goat, you guys deserve the good review.
