Budget Truck Rental

Very busy week I had to move that weekend.
I figure when you make a reservation that would mean. Hey we got your truck for you.
Nope I get called the night before I move telling me we don’t have one for you with absolutely zero help to get another truck.
Now I’m out extra time and money postponing a moving trying to save money.
Don’t bother just go with uhaul. They are more credible and offer you. Huge discounts if they can’t fulfill their end of the deal. They also have more trucks. I’ve used uhaul several times to never have an issue.
I guess trying to save a few dollars with this low end company wasn’t worth it

I like using Budget, their trucks are the cleanest and best maintained. I’ve used «the other guy» (and you know who I’m talking about) and have been most sorry every time. Budget res department is very friendly, willing to work with you, offers discounts for AARP and AAA, and you feel good about the whole experience. The truck we drove from CO to here was in very good shape, drove well, got around 12 mpg fully loaded if we maintained around 60 mph, and was free of unwanted smells. Hard to get into if you’re short or have bad knees but that’s with any 16 ft truck. Other than that, it was a very good vehicle and great people to work with. If you go with «the other people» you won’t have the same things to say about the truck.
