Really lucked out with this place, what a gem. In town for work and had some time to kill and of course went to Unilocal and the café was just 2 mins away. Sat outside on a beautiful mid March day. Went with the turkey club and it was a very fresh and satisfying sandwich. Potato salad was fine nothing special but I still ate it all. The staff was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend for a light lunch and great outdoor seating.

Excellent food and wonderful friendly staff. Chicken salad is delicious! Baked goods are a must try! Deviled eggs are a great side dish. Will definitely be back soon!

We will definitely come back and tell our friends of this place. We had two salads — one was the Apple Pecan and the Café’s Topped Salad. Both were delicious and there home made dressings were fantastic(next time I’ll bring a cooler to bring the dressings home — they sell larger containers for take home). For dessert we had the apple dumpling. I normally am not big on high sugar desserts but this one was calling me. I am glad it did. Wonderful balance of apples, sugar, cinnamon, flour and whipped cream. We went about 1:30 on a Saturday and they were a bit short handed on help. I had to get up and request my dessert get served. We also weren’t able to get refills on our beverages as our server never returned. That being said — we will definitely be back on our next trip to the area.

This is the second time I have eaten here, and both times it was excellent. It’s an old country house, converted into a café(and there’s a store attached with little trinkets for sale). The inside seating area is surrounded by big picture windows and country décor — it’s really a very pleasant dining experience. The people running the place are so friendly and accommodating. I had the most delicious sandwich with provolone cheese on cranberry bread with cranberry chutney(it also has turkey, but being a vegetarian, I had them leave that off). The sandwiches come with 1 side dish and I got the potato salad — which I can honestly say is about the best I have ever tasted. My friend had ham on a croissant, and a side of tomato/basil soup, which was homemade and she liked very much. Overall, very good food at very good prices — a totally wonderful dining experience. They also have a big variety of homemade desserts; but, I didn’t try any of them. It closes at 3:30 — so go before then if you go. There is also a very nice outside dining area when the weather is nice. The only and only bad thing I have to say is the location. It’s right off I-26, right in the middle of a big commercial area. But, once you turn into the driveway, you forget all that.
