If there were more stars I would give a 10!!! Best place hands down for lunch. Not to mention for a great cause too! I had the turkey quiche with watermelon-mint-feta salad. Oh my was it delicious. My friend had the turkey Brie Apple panini which was excellent. We shared the strawberry trifle(local strawberries with homemade whip cream & pound cake). Mmmmmm, so good. Can’t wait to go back.

I loved the chicken salad sandwich and the fruit salad was a perfect pairing! The sweet tea is Devine and I love that the proceeds go to a women and children’s shelter! I will definitely be back!

What a wonderful restaurant! The food was outstanding. We had the chicken salad, awesome and not too mayonnaisey, sloppy jane, turkey and brie panini. Best staff! They were so kind to the kiddos, even brought a small extra side of the grape salad when they saw one of the kids picking off mom’s plate. The best thing is their mission of aupporting women in crisis. Helping train them and finding them full time jobs. Over 115 people have been helped. Definitely check it out!

Great place for lunch. Fantastic shrimp & grits — and living at the coast most of my life I’ve had lots. My wife had the chicken pie that was also VERY good. Nice atmosphere and a great cause — Will be back.

Truly a wonderful experience! You feel welcomed and appreciated as soon as you walk in the door. The setting is comfortable and truly seems to capture the vibe of western NC.

I ordered the pimento and bacon sandwich and my wife had the quiche. The food was amazing and the restaurant is very peaceful. The causes this place supports is just the«icing on the cake.» I highly recommend this place for a great lunch!

This is my favorite place to eat lunch in Hendersonville. The food is always creative and delicious. The daily quiche is always good, tomato pie and the pimento cheese are wonderful. The interior design is whimsical and inviting and the service is great.

Need a place to chill out, take a deep breath and enjoy a step back in time? Well… get your bad self over to downtown Hendersonville and slide into Dandelion. First and foremost their initiative to help women out who need to get back on their feet is outstanding! The space is artfully decorated, warm and cozy. You’ll love how they made life size dandelions out of QTIPS. The breakfast omelette is packed full of sautéed veggies and lightly dusted with your choice of cheese. And only $ 5 it can’t be beat. One of the lunch specials today is meat lasagna with a side salad… full of meat, savory seasoning and tender lasagna noodles. Perfect on a cold day. Cat is the manager and is always welcoming and friendly. Homemade baked goods always line the counter and they sell hand crafted beanies, scarves and other hometown bling. Don’t miss it!

Fantastic personable staff with inspiring stories of second chances. Variety on the menu, all cooked nicely. Well decorated. Great cause, as proceeds fund a women’s shelter. Highly recommended!

I love this restaurant. The food is fresh, well prepared and delightful. My only complaint is that it’s not open o weekends but we all need a weekend to unwind.

What a beautiful café! Well decorated, it is a spa like comfortable environment. I love that they hire women who are rising above abusive circumstances and giving them hope and jobs to start a new life. Another plus, the food is fresh and delicious. Breakfast omelettes are creatively prepared and loaded w/flavor. Lunch is also very satisfying w/many options. I highly recommend you support this fine establishment and cause.

All the food is local and farm fresh. The wait staff was really nice. I had a portbella sandwich with balsamic and feta, and it was really yummy. We got a few quiches, spinach, mushroom and feta that were warm and delicious with kale side salads. We brought in a group of 8 people, from 12 yr olds to 60 and it they all enjoyed the food. The menu changes constantly based on the local food donations. They apparently employ women from the women’s shelter next door to help them build skills to become self-sufficient. They were 3 people short on staff when we were there and we still got our food pretty quickly. We arrived around 11:30am and I’m not sure if there was a breakfast menu if we had gotten there earlier but I’d say it was more lunch food than breakfast or brunch. The only reason I gave this a 4 star instead of a 5 was that one of the three Waldorf chicken salad croissant sandwiches had a bone left in it. But overall, everything was really good, and the decorations and environment are very cute.
