The manager went beyond what was expected to correct a problem with my order!

I thought I’d try something different for Mother’s Day this year. BIGMISTAKE! I ordered off of their menu; didn’t complicate the order. I ordered a box of 12 chocolate-covered strawberries to go with my loves’ gift, and an arrangement for my Mom. The strawberries were a mess. The little leaves were entirely brown. The chocolate was inconsistent. Very unappealing. Some were half covered, others fully. I could have done it better myself. It was fruit, chocolate, and some sticks. The arrangement was much smaller than I expected. I was pretty embarrassed by both items. They would have been cute if my 1st and 3rd graders would have made them. But sadly, I spent way too much for these and a huge chunk just for delivery. But now I have a great idea for the next occasion. The kids will love the project, Im estimating maybe $ 15.00 total, and they will probably do a much better job! It’s tempting to just order when you are looking at their pictures; but don’t do it. You’ll be setting yourself up for disappointment. And you’ll end up feeling like YOU personally failed in the gift department. The girl that took the order was short/rude and not energetic or friendly. I just thought they were busy and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Now, I realize no matter how busy they were, I was a customer who should have received proper customer service from a friendly voice on the phone. Because ultimately, the service was bad and the product was shameful.
