A.C. Moore Arts and Crafts

The items here are always exactly what I’m looking for. The prices for crafting items are always reasonable. The only reason I lower this to four stars is because the service can be quite gruff. Today I tried processing an exchange after waiting in line for quite a while and the cashier immediately barked, «I can’t do that, you have to go to customer service.» It was very abrupt and how was I to know that only one cashier could process a return/​exchange.

Fabulous scrapbooking section! Everything you need from scrapbook paper, stickers, stamps, die cut products, plastic pages, scrapbooks, etc… They run great sales and almost always have a coupon available on their website.
A great x-​mas section in December too!

I had three prints that I needed framed and I went to AC Moore because of the location and convenience to me. They always have a deal running on custom framing work and I was able to save up to 60% off my order. The guys working in the framing shop are very professional and they know their stuff! We went through numerous mattes and frame designs and they were patient with me and gave me great ideas for choosing color combos that would best suit my prints. They gave me a 3 – 4 week turnaround date but I received a message within 2 weeks that my order was ready. I went in to pick it up and we inspected every inch (hey! I paid a lot for this stuff, so I want to make sure everything looked good!) and the quality of the work was amazing. It even came in with built in wires to hang so that was one less task of having to figure how I was going to hang it. I am very happy with their framing services and will use them again for the professionalism, customer service, quality of work, and price.

Ben Franklin Crafts & Frames switched over to AC Moore. Since switching over to AC Moore, the store has more supplies. You will find most art and crafts supplies at AC Moore. The store carries beading, kid’s toys, candles and random house items. There’s a framing section in the store. I got some pictures and my degree framed before the switch to AC Moore. I was pleased with my frame work. Signing up for the mailing list is a good idea. AC Moore will send out discounts to customers. The employees were friendly. The customer service is usually good. AC Moore is located at the Shops at Willow Lawn (on the side with Kroger).AC Moore is a solid choice for art supplies and framing.

If you liked Ben Franklin, then you’ll like A.C. Moore, ’cause it’s basically the same thing. Framing, beads, arts and crafts… Great prices. Great selection.
