Best coffee shop in Glen Allen! Authentic Italian coffee and breakfast! I love how their coffee is not bitter and they make everything from scratch. My fiancé and I go there for breakfast often and love their egg breakfast and almond milk latte’s.

Caffespresso is a perfect coffee shop, but it’s nothing to go «ooh» or «ah» about. The coffee here is good, sandwiches are decent, but nothing to impress. When we went, the sink was out of order, therefore we had to drink it in paper cups, which is fine, but we were sitting in, so that kind of was a bummer. Overall, Caffespresso is a good place for coffee, but if you want the best cup of coffee in the RVA, nah, not here.

Love this place. The atmosphere is perfect. There are couches in the back by the«take a book, leave a book» bookshelves. I’ve been here multiples times and always get the same pesto panini. It’s HUGE and so so delicious. The pesto isn’t overwhelming on the turkey and cheese like most store bought pesto and the bread is perfectly crisp. I tried a froZen caramel latte last time too, and all I can say is Starbucks doesn’t even come CLOSE! I crave it daily and wish they had a drive through!

Good café, the two regular baristas are down to earth sweethearts, sugar free without sugar substitutes fruit smoothies, art on the walls and a free lending library– who could ask for more? Completely chill non pretentious vibe

My husband and I love this unique little place. We stop by after going to the gym for a QUICK lunch. Something has happened in the past few months. It is now taking over 45 minutes to have a panini made! When questioned about our order today, we were told rather rudely that they had to bake the bread and it was so fresh and we were told when ordering(we were not!) This was our second experience like this and there may not be a third due to the service. Claudio, the owner needs to figure out the problem soon!

A small little joint with big flavor. Ordered a meat and cheese plate for two and was worried it would not be enough for both of us. Ended up not finishing it all. Service was good and friendly. We will be going back.

I’ve been living down the road from these folks for about two years and it’s been an amazing experience every time I visit. I’m always getting there coffee and there Chi Latte’s and they’ve always been perfect. There service is terrific and the environment is one of a kind.(I love how they feature local artists!!!)

Excellent, not much else is needed to be said. Staff was very courteous and friendly. I had a latte and a panini and enjoyed every bite and sip. Probably the best cup of coffee I’ve had in Richmond since moving here, and the panini was simply delicious.(It was the turkey /pesto, but they have 12 other variations) Absolutely going back to try some of the other sandwich options, and of course more espresso. There is also a small market area offering pastas, drinks, etc. a nice place.

This place is amazing! Go. NOW! I woke up one morning and decided i really wanted breakfast but was way too lazy to cook. I didn’t want a full on brunch. Luckily i remembered reading about this place on Unilocal,so I had to try it out. Its a super cute coffee house, a little difficult to find if you don’t know where to look. Anyways, had to start with some coffee. the hubs got the café aut lait and I got the dante’s inferno, which is a latte with chocolate, raspberries and hot pepper. Sounds amazing… and it is! For breakfast he got a breakfast sandwich and i decided to splurge on the breakfast special with the Gorgonzola pesto sauce. OMG amazing. The prosciutto was melt in your mouth, the eggs spectacular and the focacia was out of this world. I can’t wait to go back and try everything else on the menu!

This coffee house is a hidden gem with a refreshing personality. If you are tired of the American white wash coffee house franchise then come here. The panini’s are fresh and not something heated up from a celephaine wrapper, they are outstanding. The froth on their latte is perfect and they have hidden pleasures like Puma Cola that I have only found on my travels in South America. Finally their customer service has the warmth of a loving Nieghbor, they went the extra mile to ensure a misplaced valuable was returned to me.

Great atmosphere, delicious coffee. I come here often while I wait for my appointment at the chiropractors office next door. For some reason my computer doesn’t like the wireless internet connection. But all my other electronics connect to it! So I believe it’s not the shop’s fault.

About as fast as an Italian train from Rome to Brindisi, which means not at all… but great coffee in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Definitely come if you have some time to sit and enjoy your coffee instead of scarfing it down in a port-a-cup. As europeans know, coffee is more about the experience, the conversation and the quality of the beans. This little shop tucked away off street near Gaskins and Patterson(don’t blink or you’ll miss it) serves up great coffee and the food is no slouch either. Breakfast sandwiches, pastries, soup, paninis, you name it, and all done with care and quality. Try their specialty espresso drinks, like the Odessa(steamed milk, caramel, almond & amaretto) or Dante’s Paradiso(steamed milk, white chocolate, vanilla, caramel)…or any combination you can think of… oh, and did I mention Italian wine and beer? I think to really appreciate the speed of Italy, an hour or so spent in here would give you the right idea… it’s good for your blood pressure to slow down and enjoy food and drink at a pace that seems to keep europeans alive for longer periods of time, and the coffee is excellent, so give Caffespresso some time and they are sure to impress, and make you want to come back for more. They’re good for any meal so give them all a try!

I’m in love with this place! Such a cozy and cute place with delicious pastries and amaaaazing espresso(specialty). You can taste the homemade in their coffees and small food items. The specialty espresso is what I make the 20+ minute drive for, it’s so delicious, unlike any other coffee you’ve had.

This was such a cute hidden gem! As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was in a movie. Caffespresso has stolen my heart. The owner was amazing despite having to roll around on a scooter because his leg was broken(bless his heart!). He introduced me to the Italian version of hot chocolate which was perfect on this unseasonably cold evening. Their«take a book, leave a book» policy is awesome and the desserts looked delicious. I really don’t have anything bad to say about this shop. Yes the prices were higher than normal, but I honestly think they are fair for the quality of service and product that you get. Unfortunately it is a little out of the way for me, but I will make time to visit as often as I can!

What a cozy little coffee shop in the West End! I’ve heard the name Caffespresso thrown around quite a few times lately, so when Lauri T and I decided to meet here today to talk Unilocal,I was beyond thrilled. It was pretty frigid out when I entered, so perhaps the contrast of outdoor cold with the indoor warmth of the shop added to it’s coziness. But either way, the couch in the back was the perfect place to increase the comfortable and welcoming feel of the café. Although the case of goodies was quite tempting, I stuck with my usual coffee with sugarfree syrup(vanilla today) and almond milk. DElish. And I loved the huge mug my cup o’ joe was served in. The space itself is pretty small, with a few scattered tables and a comfy lounge area toward the back, where we sat. I could totally see myself posting up here for a few hours getting some work done when I’m in the area. If this was closer to my house, I would definitely be a regular.
