My last review this place was back in 2013 and a lot is changed since then. The school has not he only moved into its new space in the Glen Eagles shopping center but they have also acquired the space next door for the growing A+ program and the growing evening classes. There is a another room in the back that students can use to work on curriculum, flips, and other stuff. The A+ room is big and has storage for their things and tables and chairs. The lobby is warm and inviting and the front office staff is absolutely wonderful. Classes not only give you time to work on your own material but also let you work with other students both higher and lower in belt level. Each class is different and rewarding. If you visited us at the Three Chopt location and were turned off. Give us another chance… You won’t be disappointed. You can try 5 weeks of unlimited classes for $ 11!

My daughter’s have been members of MAW — West End for almost a year. During this time frame, I have seen great advancement in their self confidence, their manners and focus. I have and will continue to recommend the after school program and summer program to everyone I know. Also, the new location is great!

What a wonderful family environment! I thoroughly enjoy being able to be in class with my daughter. The teaching styles of the instructors allow for adults to get as much out of the classes as the children. For those nights of intense training they also have adult and teen only classes. The instructors are great and the office staff is so friendly. Master Erik Hubley is absolutely inspirational and amazing with the kids. The school is very clean and nice and they offer a wide variety of class times. I am so happy my family choose this school to attend.

What a dump! I signd up for a kickboxing class hoping for exciting things… Well, it stopped at the door. This place is in the basement under the Village shopping center and from the moment I opened the door and the stench hit me in the face I wondered what I had signed up for… The place is filthy! I was greated with an offers of a «tour» of the place which was a walk across«the mat» and pointed to a door to «the locker room» and told that I must go barefoot on the mat. The locker room looks like a bathroom in any highway gas station. There are holes in the doors(apparently placed there by a punch or two) huge stains all over the carpet(some still wet) and that smell… It is overpowering! Not sure when this place was last cleaned, but I am POSITIVE it has been a long, long time. Not just the locker room, but the entire place is filthy and gross. And they«require» you to go barefoot. Yikes! I would not dream of returning and to think so many people send there kids here… Not me, no way! Oh… One other thing. It’s bad enough that you pay to go to this place, but I was solicited to make a cash donation for a birthday present for the lead instructor. And since then I have been solicited two other times for other cash donations. Seriously?!
